@Marilyn G hi ik i am late to reply, I am doing year 12 biology here in Australia, we just learned that RubisCO has an optimal pH of >9 and optimal temperature was >60 . this means that the RubisCO enzyme will in fact denature due to it being exposed in an environment either too high or too low optimal temp/pH. so I don't think that RubisCO will function optimally in animals/humans. though, I am still learning this field so if you know please let me know.
