Some people swear by it, some people swear at it, ha ha.
But there is no denying its popularity :-)
I will admit, I am in the camp of those that swear by it :-)
I have always loved Neil Diamond's voice since I was a kid.
Just an incredible songwriter, performer and singer.

ALL the time you put into "ALL" your exps/illustrations/techniques of what to do ,as well as NOT to do, is PRECIOUS time well spent.The artist comparisons, going thru all the timbre's of vowel mods, is often the EUREEEKA moment the light comes ON for many of us. I hope ya NEVER edit these.😎 Yeah Ken, I remember ya doing this a while back BUT?...after this lesson, I listened again with SCHOOLED ears this time and came away with even MORE appreciation for your emotionally charged delivery that was SPOT ON, nailin all those gritty growlin phrasings thru out, with KILLER dynamics😎 Some how I missed this one in the isolated series so lets continue our study shall we?☺ Thanks a TRILLION!

The proof is in the tutorials! I truly think that KTVA after the initial purchase is just a gift that keeps on giving! I notice small things every week and experiencing clear improvements each month. Songs that were a bit difficult 2-3 months ago are actually easy now as long as I focus. Especially around F4-D5 it seems I can stay there forever and I am learning how to navigate the consonants which was a big problem before. All things indicate that God put me in a mid tenor range so I can draw a little from both worlds which comes handy now. Light tenors can learn how to sing heavier it was said. Now I know it's true. But it took around 12 months until I was confident to lean in harder. I could do it before, but it always sounded like some half measure. Now the voice can sustain it without the next phrase sounding nervous or that I lose the composure altogether.

Thanks for doing some Neal Diamond...my Dad used to play his "Hot August Night" albums a lot when I was a kid, and he was always a huge fan of his music.
When I get serious about trying to listen to something, I close my eyes to block out visual distractions. I have to say that you come very, very close to matching him 100%. The tone of his voice, how you sings each word, down to the Brooklyn accent!

Nails another totally different singer's style and technique. Ken can be himself or a chameleon. Side note, the bras and panties are not to be feared. It's the hotel keys inside that you gotta watch out for...
Subtle differences so I had to listen very close to be sure you weren't actually playing Neil Diamond in a lot of places.
I sang at church from a very young age. After my family fell apart at 11 I was never brought to church and became a lapsed catholic. I haven't sung a song in almost 30 years as creative pursuits were stymied by those who had custody over me. The church never taught me anything like what I've watched on this channel. Even though I've only been watching for under an hour, I feel more confident than I did 30 years ago.
I feel a sense of trust in your arrogance Ken, as I think it comes from a place of competence. I need to learn how to sing as an adult. I have to admit the only reason I am trying again is that I hear "I like your voice," from women I don't know, just from talking to them. So it's taken a bit of an ego bump for me to get here. I don't even know what to do with my voice, where to go, how to start, anything. But I am a very obsessive person who gets very fixated on one thing at a time in life. Any advice on something like a playlist from your channel would be taken and appreciated. As well as any referrals of other creators whom you respect. Thank you.
Odd that you perceive Ken's competence and expertise as arrogance. I think he's confident in his ability. Obviously he's been singing, professionally, for over 40 years and has taught myriad students how to sing.
