If your phone is going straight to video mode, try switching accounts, force closing the app, opening it, and going back to the account you want to use.
It worked for me!:)

for the people who have the new layout, there’s a little arrow on top of the photos you added, just drag it down or tap on it then there’ll be an option for video !!

For everyone useing the latest version there is a button select(on the top right corner)then you press it and then you put the order of photos you want and press next :)

Pro tip for space, try to avoid updates as much as possible only if u need need it cause tiktok takes up so much storage it’s not even funny TikTok’s legit bigger than Facebook aiming at 2GB after how many updates holy that’s not normal
