    How can Abdominal adhesion disorder affect cardiovascular function? Can it also affect abdominal aortic aneurysm?

    It was good video however, does not relate to NCLEX-RN since the presenter is diving more into surgery and how doctors put in a stent instead of nursing intervention preoperative, postoperative. It does not really depict NCLEX-RN review but good information liked the video!! :)

    When prescribing a beta blocker, wouldn't the patient get low HR with high blood pressure due to the SNS kicking in? Or is that that the Beta blocker will also block the RAAS system, preventing for the BP to go up

    Does an aneurysm usually form in the abdomen below the kidneys? If so, why?

    • @jomanaalkhater6524
      @jomanaalkhater6524 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, in cases of AAA around 95% of the aneurysm occurs below the renal arteries due to the fact that the lower the aorta the less collagen and elastin there is in the media layer of the aorta thus less strength and elasticity to recoil increases its risk for it to be dilated. Other factors that can also predispose the patient into developing an aneurysm are aging (which also decreases collagen and elastin over time) , genetic malformation of elastin/collagen, and many other factors.

      JOmana Alkhater awesome thank you for your response. Do you happen to know if smoking is one of the biggest risk factors because of its association with alpha-1 antitrypsin?

      @@jomanaalkhater6524 A TRUE STORY OF A CORPORATE HOSPITAL IN INDIA
      My father , who relied immensely on a world ranking so called great and humanist cardiologist of South India , became a worst victim of false promises and lies :-
      1. On 19/10/2019, he recommended the double open surgeries of abdominal aerotic aneuyrism and bypass in a single OT . It was a fatal surgical decision , but he promised all positive outcome of the surgeries without telling us a single word about risks .
      2. On 12/11/2019 Dr. his assistant told me that operations were successful , but they did cholestomy next day citing gangrene in the intestines. But in their own test report there was no trace of gangrene.
      3.On 25/11/2019 Dr. Nair told me in the ICU that he will apply an imported bandage worth Rs.40,000/- on the deep and wide surgical cut in the abdomen . But the gory wound did not heal till death on 03/12/2019.
      4.The doctors in the ICU claimed that it was the world class AITU, but my father had blood infection and septocemia before death.
      5. Due to their wrong decisions they had to conduct three other surgeries like cholestomy, treakestomy and thoracentesis
      Why did the doctors at NH committed organised butchery of my father by applying 5 surgeries ?
      Why did they use my 74 yr old father as a guinea pig for experiment ?
      I would not have lost my father if Dr Devi Shetty told me the truth on the very first day about the risks and complications of the open surgeries like AAA and CABG together.
      My father became the easy prey to their medical negligene, corruption and cheating at the private hospital
      They don't feel the trauma of taking home the dead body to WB.
      I have no intention to hurt or malign anybody , but massive injustice was meted out to my innocent father .

    WHAT ARE THE COMPLICATIONS AFTER OPERATION

    • @budsmoker60
      @budsmoker60 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had an open repair 8 months ago, the main problem I had, apart from risk of death , was an Ileus, this lasted 2 weeks post surgery. I'm still having problems with movement, you need to take care of yourself. Open repair is very serious surgery. May I suggest prior to surgery, an effort to get into shape, I think I just wasn't fit enough or prepared enough for this level of surgery.

    does the bulge just disappear with Endovascular stenting?

    • @Jcsuperstar22
      @Jcsuperstar22 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      zahraaa no, the bulge stays. But its not going to rupture because the blood isnt flowing against the artery wall, its flowing against the stent.

    • @drrem1
      @drrem1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jessica Cundari actually, over time the aneurysm tissue closes around the stent.

    But does aneurysms have a correlation to a persons height. For instants if I’m 7 foot tall and have a 5.5 Aneurysm will that not be equal to some one 5-5 with aneurysm measured at 5.0cm?

    • @peternapolitano860
      @peternapolitano860 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no height correlation. I'm 6ft5 inches tall had a 5.2 cm aneurysm..a normal aourta is 3cm in everyone. How are you?

    • @drrem1
      @drrem1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      USMC MSgt No. if you have anything over 5.4 cm, get treatment. Height has no influence.
