    Delete the cat! Make it stupidly loud. My fz07 makes the silverware rattle when I warm the bike up in the garage. It’s GREAT!

    this is really so FAIL when people buy a bike they like and then they think the bike sounds not good or too silent. All you making the bike louder Guys: because of you the regulations are becoming stricter and stricter and more and more is forbidden. Thanks. Who wants a loud bike anyway? Pisses you off after a while and also everyone around you. Actually I am happy with the new regulations that bikes with modded exhausts and over 95 db are forbidden im certain Areas in the Alps. Thanks to YOU show offs.

    I can't believe you went back to KTM after getting stranded in the desert! Now that's brand loyalty 😂

    • @mooiboyace
      @mooiboyace 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s a really big difference between the 690 and 790 .. pretty much a totally different bike. And even the updated 690 engine is pretty bulletproof.

    • @IRLtrolls
      @IRLtrolls 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mooiboyace I dunno man. There have already been some issues with the 790s leaking oil in various gaskets around the engine. I think the 790 is a sick bike. But after reading all the of horror stories on r/KTM and r/Husqvarna. I don't think I would ever gamble my money on an Austrian bike. It may be faster than a Yamaha T7, but I guarantee it won't be as reliable down the road, nor will KTM honor warranty like Yamaha. I think this is a classic example of European performance vs Japanese reliability.

    • @mooiboyace
      @mooiboyace 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      IRLtrolls If you put them side to side, the 790 is the better bike for the road/commuting and that’s probably what Tom will use it for the most. But to be completely honest, If I had to choose myself; Tenere 700 all the way. If i’m chugging it through mud or flooring it on dirt I just need to know it will stay running, and the CP2 engine it has is wonderful, torquey and reliable. I totally get where you’re coming from though, KTM has had a lot of problems over the years and i’ve seen some small problems with the 790’s too (broken horn-buttons and such). I’m hoping Tom’s 790 isn’t a lemon like his 690 was😅

    • @humzilla707
      @humzilla707 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wasn't that 690 rung out and used on track days, and just head gasket failure?

    • @jimenagulla9081
      @jimenagulla9081 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@IRLtrolls a lot of the reported problems are internet bull shit stories, my 790R has been great so far with over 3000 miles, even the reported oil leaks are commonly oil from the chain collecting on the skid plate and idiots thinking it's the engine. No bikes or cars are perfect, there will always be some problems.
