Hey Mike, I think you should handle them big trout with some better care,that smacking on concrete is deadly man,most of them fish you released are probably dead after the way to handle them, wet your hands with saltwater before handling them, turning them upside down to release hooks will quite fish down, no thrashing around here
I just subscribed, that first trout was real nice. What bay is this ? In downtown. I am from san antonio, so I don't know corpus to good if I go down there I end up at cosway pier, most of the time.
Ive seen plenty 30 plus downtown multiple times during the cold weather downtown, or get to cosway or red dot an hour or two before sun down and you are sure to catch them

I was going to go there but went to rincon channel instead, yeah I usually bump into him downtown or at Lexington but given his health issues I'm sure he just ain't risking his life due to covid

Downtown corpus, winter time it kicks up alot and the trout are stacked in there
