I swear you can hear the music just flowing out of itself as if ex nihilo, but for coming out of nothing it is just too well put together to comprehend! Just amazing
I was there- Snuck down to the 12th row from way back! Just in time for THIS Boogie to start the second set- Something I'll never ever forget- ❤️✔️🖖🏿(PS. The Hood was good too:)
Wow, talk about night and day. The first part of this jam just treads water, but eventually turns into a ferocious multicolored starburst. Glad I kept listening.
Somehow I've never heard this before. It is really good. 99 doesn't get enough respect. I mean it kind of does but not really. Everyone is so obsessed with 92-95, and 97 but 99 deserves some credit. I put in a lot of miles in 99, Oswego, Vancouver, Big Cypress and a few in between, by far more than any other year, yet I barely ever listen any now.

the amount of time a song is played and how well that song is played have no correlation. when anyone says "holy shit this version is X minutes long" it makes me laugh.
wellllll they do have a correlation, phish would never play shitty music for 20+ minutes...so when i see long songs like that i say, "holy shit, they mustve really enjoyed playing that, mustve been a sweet jam". and 99% of the time, im right
Drew Binder Hahaha who's Troy. AGREEEED! The best band in the World, would never choose to play this long, if it was not 1. Good, or 2. Planned out, such as the Palace Gin, from Auburn Hills 97
Yet we probably still came back your city year after year because we outnumber you bacon smelling fucks and no matter how many undercover busts you pull off there's still twice as many getting fucked up in the stands vs the amount busted for it every show so don't go thinking you made much of a difference there oinkey
