- Carowinds is opening their new Aeronautica Landing in 2023 and will feature 6 rides (5 of which are new). The new themed area also offers some new dining, bars, updated games and much more. Carowinds took the worst looking area of the park and turned it into the best looking one!
Aeronautica Landing will be a huge hit for park guest this year and I can't recommend visiting enough!

@@huntzzio Intimidator and Fury are both kinda newer B&M's , so maybe that's why, and I know fury also has sand in it's supports too

3:38 the theming for Hover and Dodge reminds me of playing Lazer Tag lol. The whole area looks fantastic so far! Can't wait for when the WindstarZ and Gyro Force is completed! Excellent work Carowinds! Hoping Adventure Port is on par with it!
Was already planning to hit Dollywood and Carowinds back to back in a couple weeks. Seems both keep getting better every year.

I hadn't heard about kings island opening a new area. Planning a late August eastern U.S. cedar fair tour with my son. Do you know any info about what they are offering and when it will open? Great video! Love the dragster info too. Just sorry it won't be open this year. Made it up to cedar point in July of 2021 and I'm so glad we got to ride it before the closure.

This new themed area looks absolutely amazing, Aeronautica Landing is a fantastic addition for Carowinds.
The new area fits in with the theme very very well, I always love Zamperla’s flat rides so I’ll enjoy this area a lot definitely it’s modern and fresh overall Aeronautica Landing is nice. The food looks really cool too, glad y’all had fun tho at the Media Event!!

I'm glad you like the new area. I personally don't like it seeing as it replaced some rare flat rides you don't see a lot of places (like a Chance Yoyo) and a solid rainy day attraction (which it was when I went) with high capacity with cut and paste flat rides seemingly every park is getting. I will admit the theme ties in nicely with Afterburn though.
Yeah but just wait till the 2 new rides open in the next month or so
I do miss Yo Yo lol 😅 coulda kept it somehow, but on the other hand, this area is nicely rethemed and fits well with Afterburn like you said!
The park had a yo yo, and a wave swinger, and wind seeker… losing the yo yo was not a big loss

@@urbex_coasters I am a fan of classic flat rides. More than most. I’m also not blind to the redundancy of swing rides in this park. I would have loved to see it stay, but I understand why it left, is all I’m saying.

New area looks nice! Wish the air race was the model that went higher like Fiesta Texas. Yeah, you haven't lived until you go into a Theme Park for a Media Day really early. For West Coast Racers they brought us in at 3:30am and we were riding it by 3:50am for that media day as I was part of the crew that was riding it over and over that morning. I heard the park was really busy today. And I bet sticking to the diet was really tough with that spread. They seem to go all out.

Cool new area. I was there Thursday and they had it running. They are desperately needing the college kids to return to staff the park, a lot of rides and attractions never opened👎
Yeah it was a bad day for staffing for sure.
@@TP_Recommendations are the food lines typically that long?? Every vendor had huge lines between 11:30-3. We waited an hour and a half at juke box cafe for burgers and fries. Never have encountered that problem at cedar point!!

We went to Carowinds opening weekend in 2022 and it wasn’t running. Heard it wasn’t running all of the 2022 season. Do you think it will be this year?
It’s been open :) it opened last year for Scarowinds.

Did Afterburn get a complete repaint for the new area? I've never been to Carowinds before, but I've been researching for my upcoming trip this June. Afterburn looks incredible in this video.

Wow that looks fantastic! Not too worried about the issues with the Zamperla flat rides. As a former ride op and attractions manager new systems always have bugs that need to be worked out!

Going to miss action theater and the plants vs zombies ride.
I’m not that impressed with the new area, it was better when it was County Fair. Remodeled and renamed Country Kitchen into Chick fil a and then remodeled into another restaurant. I don’t care what new name bumper cars are called they are still just bumper cars. New rides not working is not a good start. So basically just a new theme and new pavement. Seems very underwhelming and would expect much more from Cedar Fair.

Looks cool, Love the way you Threw that shot at Zamperla in regards the TTD re-imagination💯 Thats all FACTS! Zamperla has absolutely NO BUSINESS touching TTD it's beyond thier ability spectrum. But looking forward to visiting Carowinds again this summer
