Ah, looking back after things went wrong, is such a dilemma isn't it? How could we have avoided this or that? I'm pleased you did get to the station even if it was another bus - so sort of sorted but left a wry taste in the mouth I am sure. Aside from that, the squashed sleigh ride and the MSG, the visuals of the white Christmassy Zakopane were stunning. A trip to look back on with much (hopefully) good sentiment. What would I do if things went wrong? Well, my husband and his brother went on holiday end destination Zwitserland. They arrived back on the 23rd May. Our car is still in Zwitserland. They had mechanical car trouble. We hope the car will be transported back in about 10 days time and be dropped at our garage for repair. My husband is great in calamities. He has organised all the necessary changes to the programme and the travel and car insurance does the rest. Their holiday was cut short but at least they were safe. Not having the car all this time- well, we shall survive that too- it was quite an adventure getting it all sorted and instead of being frustrated they both now have an adventuresome story to share over a beer with friends. I do hope your wee mishaps didn't mar your wonderful time in the snow. Have a great week. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Oh no, car trouble sucks, glad the insurance is coming to the party. The bus was stressful at the time but it really did not hurt our overall thought of Zakopane. We made the most of our time and did what we could… it was so a pity about the sleigh but that is all part of the adventure
Have you been to Zakopane?
Tells us what you would have done when things went wrong?
