Keatts was actually doing better in year one than here in year 8. Yes it was awesome to have a magical run last March, fanbase needed it badly. However, nothing changes, Keatts cannot coach and this year is heading in a very bad direction. No one is going to the games and we are going to miss the NCAA tournament when the ACC is historically at its lowest.
I know 10 guards and 2 post players is your thing and you worked miracles with that philosophy last year. At some point wouldn't it be easier to have the mindset that 'THIS YEAR I WILL RECRUIT A FOUR MAN ROTATION OF 6-11 GUYS OR TALLER.' Why must State have to struggle so much every year trying to win games even with bigger guards than in the past. Why must we accept a lack and struggle philosophy when NIL donations are there to help bring in big men. And I know we had the funds to bring in some big post players last year, but we snubbed a solid frontline for more guards. It just feels like such a weak mentality. I could understand the philosophy if we were nearly unbeatable with it, but you're the exact opposite of that. Struggle city every year!
💯facts. He needs to change or quit coaching college basketball all together. Year 8 and the same story, it’s getting old and the attendance at home games is proof that it’s getting old.
