Lebanese food is thee best...My family was introduced to this food when my older sister married a Palestinian (thank you God) named Masoud in the early 80's.. it was a gastronomic glorious flood of dishes, spices, herbs family and Love. I love Indian food,.. have been to Israel and Egypt twice.. Spain, traveled thru Europe ( I was a nanny to a film producer, I am NOT rich) of all the foods I've eaten and love..the Lebanese style is my absolute favorite ❣️❣️❣️ My dear brother in law sadly left us in 2016.. families have moved ...kids grown n gone.. I cherish the memories of Ramadan and the feast following, the family get to gethers at home or the parks... wonderful, THANKYOU for this video...and the views of the food❤
Good choice David. You really nailed it. As a concert pianist, I have been lucky to dine at world's best restaurants. One correction: Mounir's Restaurant is not the best restaurant in Lebanon. it is the best Lebanese restaurant on the planet. The owner makes sure that every Mezze dish is perfectly prepared and served is considered. Also, it has one of the most beautiful view, vista in our planet!

you have to come to Zgharta - north lebanon, the best food in Lebanon, and you will have the tastiest mezze and the traditional Zgharta big meat balls (Kebbe balls), so many restaurants in zgharta / Ehden, they all are recommended

I was wondering about the etiquette. In Eastern Europe, sitting at the table and eating food while you're wearing a hat (indoors) is considered to be extremely rude. I have no idea about how things go in the Middle East, though. Is that acceptable there?
I visited Lebanon 5 years ago truly it was the best food ever and eating in a restaurant there is total joy and satisfaction so I believe what David is talking about

I do not know what is more attractive the food or David's blue eyes! I am happy with my brown eyes by the way, I have gotten the most good compliments on my eyes because they are big. And I heard people with brown eyes are at less risk of eye cancers just blue is my favourite colour.

The only few things missing would have been, raw lamb liver bites, lamb sweetbread, lamb tongues and sanesel. Sahtein wa miyet hana. Congrats! you just gained 10 pounds...lol, need a dolly to drag you out to your ride.
The greens you ate with fried onions on it are dandelions greens here in the states. I live in west palm beach next time you're home and want some Lebanese food hit me up im a Lebanese chef
You need to visit the cedars or sawfar. You can't visit Lebanon and not go to the cedars which the actual that Lebanon was made for. And take a cedar tree with you If you want Armenian food you need to try batchig

Yes lamb is safe to eat if it is fresh slaughtered. The Kibeh Nih, with spices,wheat,mint,walnuts and olive oil tastes great. This food is not popular outside Lebanon because no fresh meat, only frozen meat.

Drinking Arak is a must when eating raw meat as well…it helps with any bacteria 😁
