All that food and drink are so healthy. I could eat it even with all that melted butter on that one dish but I guess that the butter and peanuts give it an added flavor. I love the Lebanese pita bread because it is so thin and light. When you look at the SkyView and skyline of the city, it's amazing how densely populated it is. Everything about this video I would describe as 'light' when it came to the food and drink. You can really see the difference in the everyday home cooked food to restaurant fare. Love the people and everything about the city. Well done.🇹🇹🇨🇦
Wow❤️am a Lebanese lady living in Arizona, i met a guy from Detroit today and Hes crazy about Lebanese food 😍 i love American people , American men are sweet😊
Thoroughly enjoyed. People so friendly and welcoming. I'll be honest I wouldn't have thought of Lebanon for a holiday, after this experience I would enjoy going. 😉😉🌳🌳🌿💚💚🌿🌳🌳
They worked hard to rebuild after years of war. It's got beautiful mountains and scenery, their Cedar and Juniper trees are so fragrant and gorgeous, the people are warm, the music is addictive, and of course the food is healthy and delicious.
You did a good thing tasting some of the cooking we cook in our houses well obviously we don't eat tabouleh and Hummus everyday we havee a huggeeee cuisine and well done tasting kebbeh blnabniye And some Lebanese dessert
I love Lebanese food. I was there in 1987 when the country was wrecked from the war, and had to stay on the 'Christian' side - no crossing the Green Line. Talk about some culture shock. But the people were wonderful, I love the music, too. I still cook Lebanese food at home. It's really healthy and not swimming in gravies or sauces, and not a lot of frying. But some foods shown here are not what I experienced while I was there. Za'h tain!
With all that oil they’re making cardiovascular industry wealthy in their country. It’ll be interesting to know the health rate of cardiovascular disease there. Thanks for sharing
dude ,,,,,,, Abu Hassan Restaurant is good But it was on your buddy should take you to El Sousseh Restaurant Selected as The World's Best Breakfast by CNN year 2013 If you are still in Beirut I highly recommend you to try it
More things to do in Lebanon Visit: baalbak ruins temple Go skying resorts Eat more Lebanese food Visit Byblos and Phoenicians castle and Phoenicians Wal Eat kanafee And when your done tell me 🙂 There's a lot more but those are a priority 😉
The truth about the coffee grounds or simply that it is created by the spirit or spirits that are around you at that moment and each spirit is different therefore there's no real meaning but somebody that is dark and has a dark attachment will manifest something dark in the ground that is unmistakable
David let me tell you that food do you are eating at that first restaurant you went in it's to die for everything on there is what I love I love anything that is made with chickpeas and hummus oh my goodness I was just in my glory just watching all those dishes oh please how I wish I could taste it mentally I can physically I can't so I'm hoping you enjoyed it for me yourself and all the others that are drooling right now Lebanese food is a secret this country does not realize except that big section in New York City they have no trouble being smart there enjoy yourself while you were there my dear and peace to you ☮️🇺🇸🥄👍
Nice Man! What’s the prices as the war in Ukraina and Russia stop to deliver !
2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey, so what I don't understand is how you converted the money. When I check online it seems that $1 = approximately 1500 LBP but when you convert somehow the dollar is worth way more. I'm just trying to understand the prices.
Hi, so because of the economic crisis, the LBP rate keeps changing, Yes the official rate is $1 = 1500 LBP, but on the black market, today, $ 1 is 25000 LBP, and you as a tourist will exchange the money according to its rate on the black market, so this is why the dollar is worth so much more than its official rate.
Amazing video. You should go and visit Israel since you are so close. Very similar food across the border. Love middle Eastern food no matter what country you are in. Looks 🤤. You need to call Mark wiens so you both can hang in Beirut..
So time we do them empty depending So if cooked with yogurt the inside empty will be as a cup basically to hold some yogurt Sometimes in the mezzeh we also do them part empty and other plate filled with meat pins species The empty served to fill it with labneh
Just wanted to say,,that at least you got a chance to see Ukraine prior to the russians destroying and shelling all of its cities... not many people will ever be able to say that...pretty amazing
09:10 Lebanon was NEVER a French colony. The cultural links between France and "Lebanon" (was not a nation yet) date back to the year 1536 AD... After WW1 France was handed a mandate in Lebanon by the League of Nations. There was a terrible famine back then... So it had first to fix that etc. etc. Can't say much more in a TH-cam comment, but if you are to present a country, you need to be more knowledgeable and respectful of its history.
Your host is an intelligent guy, took you 2some great delicious food outlets... 'but' like 'some' Lebanese has an identity complex and mentions France colonisation and French architecture..etc.. Fact is Lebanon was never colonised by France, it was only ever a political mandate... there are some Lebanese who wish they were colonised because they desperatly want 2b conected to Europe. However, his good sense of humour and sharing of a wider broad range food dishes + social hidtorical info makes up for any mistaken facts.
