  • Graceland's second floor is where Presley's master suite is located and even during his lifetime, it was a restricted area. This was one of the few places where the incredibly famous singer could get some privacy, and only those closest to him were permitted to enter.

Graceland is a private museum and not a public museum. This museum belongs to the Presley family. The members of the family have the right to decide which portion of the property would be kept open for the public and which portion would be kept closed.

I visited Graceland last summer. I did the guided tour, and the tour guide told us it was because Lisa Marie, still had her bedroom there, which was modernized and she would actually stay there. Was also told that, there were times where she had guests there to eat dinner and still allowed tours to continue through. It was pricey but I took my mother for her birthday and we definitely enjoyed every bit of it

@@aunt_b3365, the movie that was filmed upstairs in Graceland is the movie “This is Elvis “. They didn’t show his bedroom, but they showed an actor portraying Elvis going through the first door on landing and walking down the hall to Lisa’s bedroom with the round white fur bed. The hall wall had a mural, which was pretty cool to see. The actor then opened up the office door and went into the room and that was all that was seen. Jeanne Lamay (Linda Thompson’s BF) wrote a book and she had taken pictures of Elvis’s bedroom, bathroom and office, so one can see it in pictures. I own the book and it’s pretty neat to see !

I've been in Graceland many times. I always like the way they refer to it as a mansion but I'm sure as much as Elvis gave away till his families and friends he never considered it a mansion. It was just a home. And yes couldn't even go up the steps but I thought that was the reason why. Everybody deserves their privacy even in death

The way he died was nobody, nobody really no, it's only family getting. You know, the man didn't die when they said he did. He throws the depth down there in San Francisco. Check the coroners report out down there. And you'll find out that they are lying here about his death.

LOOK up * Steve Ubaney * lots of interviews of him on TH-cam talking about Elvis Presleys murder he has factual and documented proof in his book and coroner reports * Who Murdered Elvis * it's all true he was murdered nothing but lies were put out there THE Colonel started the rumors about Elvis Presley sightings , believe me the coroner took out all his organs he had no heart trouble or the list of drugs they said. Everybody Loves Elvis Presley but do they really want to know the truth about a man with flaws just like us and what he went through.
Elvis Presley gave so much to people and the world Elvis Presley deserves for the truth of what happened to him to finally be told and the truth is out there if anyone cares enough to know, this book tells WHY, HOW and WHO murdered Elvis and it is someone close to him even 2 of the workers at Graceland knows. How much do we really love Elvis Presley so much enough that we should know and seek the truth of the most AMAZING MAN, he needs justice to be done the truth to be told. 🎶🎸🎤🎵🎹🎼📿🙏 I was in total shock after reading this book but with the truth * Who Murdered Elvis * by Steve Ubaney
