Awesome, thanks for being with us! Yeah my mother in law commuted from Center Moriches to downtown Brooklyn every day. She just retired 9 months ago and moved down here. Tough livin’ up there. I commuted from Massapequa to Chinatown everyday. Dont miss it lol.
Wishing you all the best with the new channel Mike. I'm not a huge car guy but would still love to hear some updates here of how it's all going. Welding, soldering, fixing battery issues and stuff like that is still all very homesteading so definitely an opportunity to mix and match the new with the old. Looking forward to more from you soon mate.
Thank you so much! It definitely ties into homesteading to a degree but I didn’t want to overwhelm viewers of this channel with too much shop content… thought is was more fair to give them the option.
Can't wait to see the restoration process for your '55 pickup and the Vette for your wife. I have 1 request, put out videos a little more often over there on the new channel 😀 I've already subscribed over there 🥰
So happy for your wife and family that she was able to beat her illness. I'll keep watching the homesteading as not into restoration of cars. The excitement in your voice says how much you enjoy your shop and cars.🥰
Thank you! Im happy and relieved too. You may (or may not) want to check in once in a while as the new channel and shop work wont be limited to just cars. (Although it will be prevent).
We have been homesteading (you might say) for about 30 years. When our kids were little, both of us had jobs, but we raised animals and grew a big garden. It was just what we did. My husband is also into hotrod and antique car restoration. His job, was as a mechanic/machinist. First in the oilfields, then here for the state. He is retired now, but does restoration and mechanic because he enjoys it. The animals and gardening is more my department.
@@gregj2647 Thanks Greg! There will be other things. Pretty much anything that happens in the shop will be on that channel and everything that happens outside of the shop will be on this one😊
Just found your channel. I know that commute all to well. Eastern Suffolk to Brooklyn every day. Looking forward to the work on the C3.

Its good to have multiple pots on the stove cooking, isnt it?
Good luck with the new channel. I will admit I’m not into car restoration but will continue to follow this channel.
