It is kind of ridicoulus that I'm hearing Emmure nonstop since 2 months now and that they are one of the rare bands which just don't get boring to me. I mean they have a lot of 0s in their tabs.
I know why I love them. They got a badass bass sound; tribal mixed hardcore rhythms and some of the most brutal breakdowns and drops I've ever heard. Also they remind me a bit of Limp Bizkit with their mixing ''idgaf'' and ''fuck you all'' image in their songs although these two bands are obviously playing in different genres.
I just love, how I really feel the anger and the strength and cruelty in every song they play. It is full of emotions although some of you guys might disagree on this one.
When I hear Emmure I just can't stand still and feel power flowing through my whole body. And this is what good music is to me. Not necessarily to feel power but emotions in general while listening to it.
exaclty , they aren't very technical in their riffs ( lots of 0's) but have technical in rhythm. like news in Arizona. I love them, Frankie's vocals sound so fucking....just..idk there are no words to describe it. Its so angry. Glad their back ;)

TBH I think this is the best that Frankie has sounded. I used to like them more in the beginning years between Goodbye to The Gallows, and The Respect Issue I met a few members during that time when I was 16 including Frankie.
I love the new energy. You can tell these dudes are pumped as fuck to be playing. Went to an emmure show last year and the old bassist made me want to go to sleep just by watching him on stage.

Hopefully this will bring emmure the much needed breath of fresh air they have desperately needed. Ive always thought thye had potential and swagger but the riffs were sorely lacking and so repetitive. Hope josh being so awesome will change that

Because it is a sample, there is a bass player and guitar player on stage and I saw Josh dancing when the Whammy was going so they sampled the other guitar and play the sample live which probably explains the 2 Mesa heads on stage.

Wait... skip through the gig... is it almost all the same tempo? Don't get me wrong I love the new album but this makes me think twice about seeing them live...
See I understand everyone cant have their own taste in music as "taste" is purely opinionated but could someone explain to me how they find this good? You can't hear the lyrics, the note hardly ever changes, there is not melody... I just cant see how this is enjoyable to listen to.
Try studio, there's plenty of melody and rhythm and you can clearly hear the lyrics. Emmure sounds shite live. Also, you have to approach it with a more percussive ear like you would some of the electronic music, like, say, breakcore or hardcore techno.
People like it because its just whole songs comprised of breakdowns, Its not about melody, Emmure is basicly percussion, Its soul purpose is for the mosh.
its about how it makes you feel. some people can find melody in it and understand it, thats why they enjoy it, but if u dont give it a chance and see behind the "no melody" then you will never understand whats this all about
If the frontman moved his hand further down the mic you would be able to hear it better, he has shut mic technique. I agree that peoples taste is different and some people like it however shit technique is shit and some people just don't get it.

GREAT POINT! I also noticed Emmure used to be 2 guitar players a bass player and a drummer but low and behold there is only one guitarist and one bass player. You gotta admit, the light show was just good enough the crowd probably didn't realize how close Emmure were to pantomiming the entire performance. Josh was dancing when the Whammy was playing so I figured out that the Whammy was nothing more than a sample.
Im very disappointed in Josh Travis, he is an excellent player but he's wasting his potential by joining this shitty band.
