Hi Adrian - I have a 2008 Ford Fiesta which has never suffered from water ingress until a few days ago we discovered water in the passenger side footwells front and rear, lots of it. This was after several days of heavy rain. I watched loads of different videos on TH-cam and was quite horrified to see Water Ingress could be common on Fiesta's from a variety of places. Most of these videos were from Garages that deal with tis sort of thing and then I found your video. And everything you described, the places it was parked and lots of leaves etc and I thought that sounds just like my car. I know mine is a 2002-2008 model but the principal is the same and sure enough when I removed the scuttle there was a large amount of leaves covering one drain hole and at the other end of the channel where there was a drainage sump that was full of sediment. I have now cleaned that out and I am confident the car will not experience that issue again. Well done.
@@rolldeep786 Yes that turned out to be the cause of water ingress into the front footwell. Drainage hole was completely blocked so heavy overflowed into the air intake. Once I cleaned the drain holes out it was fine.

Hi mate. Just checking if your drainage issue is fixed. I have a 2002-2008 fiesta too and have a problem with passenger footwell having puddles!!
