Helps a lot! Better a restriction than a pin hole leak somewhere in the pipes/tubing! My garage refrigerator stopped cooling! Hopefully the new capacitor/relay will fix it because I wasn’t getting any resistance on the relay when I checked w my multimeter. If that doesn’t fix it than I am afraid this may be the issue! I know my seals are well in tact as well. I may have to get a torch, the correct solder, and 134a refrigerant which is all very expensive!
Great video but personally I would have just sealed to end of the old drier while it was still connected and left the capillary tube open, this way any crap tats causing a blockage will be blown out of the system rather than into the evaporator. After the blockage has cleared replace the drier and recharge as normal.
Hello, I bought a used fridge that was not cooling. I thought it was going to be something simple, but when i open the back the filter dryer is cut in half. Do i need to add a new one?

Hi there i have a samsung rf4287hars 4 door fridge. We got is used and needed refrigerant so we had some added by a tech and has worked flawlessly for about 2 years. About 6 months ago the fridge began to ice up the coils, went ahead and replaced the temp sensor, heating element and defrost sensor and it began to work fine again. 2 weeks ago, the fridge section began to ice up again time but even worse now, the freezer stopped freezing and is at room temp as well as the middle drawer or coolselect section. I have checked the fan and its working, cleaned the evaporator coils but no luck. I also checked the red led light on the board and its solid red. My compressor does turn on and fan too but the compressor does sound a bit weak vs how they shake and are a bit louder when working at full force so not sure if the freezer not being cold is a low refrigerant symptom or sensor symptom. Please help.
Kinda hard to tell. If you have a voltage meter I would check the defrost heater. I know that you replaced it already but I would check it. If you have guages since you said Freon was added before you can check and make sure it’s not in a vacuum. Might Evan have a leak in the evaporator. Or some one left the door open. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
@appliancerepair420 I added the valve to fill it with r134a at the bottom line and checked the PSI and it's at 3. Do u know what it's suppose to be on my model fridge? Someone told me it should be higher but all videos I've seen all say between 1-3 PSI on the gauge is normal when adding refrigerant
Hey good video i
am now starting to do the refrigerator work and have learnt a lot from your videos keep up the good work
Hi, this is Edward from Lake George/ Lake Champlain area of upstate NY. keep up the good work!

Thank you for this very detailed and easy to follow video.. great work.
Thanks for watching. New videos are coming this week.
Great video, what is the little clamp called that you added to be able to connect gauges and refrigerant?
Very good.
Well explained, thanks.
Thanks for watching glad it helped
Great video Brother 👍🏾
I live in Long Beach and need to repair a Samsung fridge. Can you help me out?
Great stuff. Should I always not think first that there's a leak in the evaporator if I guage up and see the system is running in a vacuum??
Can also be a restriction.
Thank you very much. God bless
Educational and informative

What number of capillary does that BK190CL2C/ Compressor have? I think it's the same one from that refrigerator.
great work, where are you located?
Orange County California

You should turn the bottle upside down??
can you do a video on how to read a schematic thank you brother.
Will do.
Can all restrictions be fix??? I was told part is inside samsung refrigerator and not accessible.
Yes. All restrictions can be fixed or bypassed
I'm having trouble with my samsung frezzer not working refrigerator cooling but freezing up after about 2weeks after defrost any suggestions?
Could be defrost heater or defrost thermostat or board depending on your refrigerator.
How much for a job like this?
Hi my Samsung refrigerator is not cooling the drinks is cold but my thermometer say it’s between 40-50. Evap is not icing up
