As far as expensive polish, you're the first small businessperson I know of who understands the emotional impact of FOMO and has backed away from the cliff. That's so cool! I don't know if you ever come back to see comments, but I am actively hunting for polishes that have mica flakes along with the holo. I love them because the mica gives a special finish indoors and the holo flares in the sun.

Since my nails are quite narrow, I *really* appreciate you sticking to skinny brushes for most of the polishes. The wider brushes that some brands use are legitimately wider than my pinky nail and that's an enormous pain.

She explained that if you have wide nails, you just need to use more strokes with a skinny brush. If you've got small/skinny nails, a wider brush might be basically unusable for you unless you're willing to clean a bunch of polish off your skin.
Do you know what’s funny. I have lived in two remote towns in Western Australia in the last few years. And I’ve seen the dad hats in both those towns. Honestly the most random thing to see in isolated areas 😂
Ooh I love Chocoholo! I feel that one and Frozen Benanas are one of the most holo polishes Ive bought from HT (in all lighting)! I nearly died the first time I wore them both. People need to give them a try! you wont regret it! My two fave polishes ever. Sidenote : I was in the hospital for a very scary surgery when I got my Frozen Benanas, and it just gave me so much in a bad situation! So thanks for that!

The problem with skinny brushes is when a polish isn’t self leveling it makes a mess when you have to do multiple strokes. A wide brush can be turned to the side to be skinny for narrow nails. Needing to replace the brush basically is a tax on half the population for having wide anatomy and the brushes are rarely in stock.
Choco Holo *is* perfect, except it should clearly be named Holo Choco. Editing to add: I’m so glad you ignore the data abt popular shades sometimes. That is understandable, Indigo is both a bluish purple shade. When Cristine did the same thing with love spark and I voted red because the site said “red-magenta”. But yeah, I think the reason the person asked purple or blue was because those two colours are the most popular on the site and Cristine said she liked purple and blue and wanted a definitive answer.

Thank you for not manufacturing scarcity. I hate it when brands do that. And then there's this air of "you're not a REAL FAN if you don't have all of the exclusive stuff". It's such a huge turn off for me and makes me not want to buy ANY products from them.
In defense of the Dad Hat: I wore mine proudly while fishing this summer (#Alaskanlife) and it's so nice! Also it makes a good gift for the people in our lives who don't wear nail polish but know our obsession with the brand lol
I wish we could buy the wide brush WITHOUT the lid. That way it could be much cheaper and less wasteful. I finally bought some wide brushes from another site. Unfortunately they are a touch too short but I'm just gonna deal with it because I hate the thin brushes so much

Literally every LE polish is being re released except the one that sold out in my cart. Not in the vault last year, all these shades being re released, it just puts a bad taste in my mouth because it's so inconsistent.

Personally, love dad hats but don’t like really flashy clothing, so I wouldn’t wear a fancy one like holo toco unless it was a mini embossed logo.
