There are a number of stocks that have been surging, it’s advisable to look beyond the short-term trends to invest in long-term income.
Not all stocks, however, are suitable long-term buys.
Totally Emilio, Some stocks you expect to do greatly might end up being a total waste.
Particularly one reason I prefer diversity, it’s almost impossible to predict how the market will play out in few months or years, so I always advise investors to diversify and avoid overexposure in any investment.

@James Owen, that’s a good thing you got going on. I could barely stand strong in the stock market right now, can’t even think of diversifying.
It's best to acquire profitable stocks that has potential of generating greater returns at least twice what was staked.
One of the key reasons why people do not make money from stocks is that they do not put the initial efforts before investing in the share.
My portfolio is actually nothing to write about, I’ve acquired lots of wrong stocks and made lot of trade losses, I hope it gets better this year.

Value vs Growth investment depends on the market situation. I guess during covid it's better to invest in value investment than growth investment stocks. P/E is Past Earnings and cannot predict futures .. There are estimated futures but one cannot depend on it. As soon as current covid-19 situation changes one can move to growth investing.
