This honestly takes me back to when me and my family used to go on holidays and my dad would drive the whole night till we were there. I was trying to sleep and not trying to be dramatic but I have anxiety and honestly sometimes anxiety gets worse during nights. I usually panic a lot when I don’t get to see the outside world or any faces. This honestly helped me a lot cause I felt more connected to the world and it calmed me down more. Sometimes, it was fun to imagine little creatures as the light moved to bypass the time. They hopped around the car like rabbits made of shade. I had this on loop in my headphones all night...and it worked so well I had them on all morning and evening as well. I woke up at 6:30 pm with this still in my ear. Best sleep I've had in a while. About 20 hours
I had to take a plane during covid and we all had to wear masks and we were not to be allowed onto the plane if we had a cough. I held back coughs for the whole one hour flight 😂.

I feel exactly the same way. I wish I could just start over in another country. Problem is, I have the best friends one could possibly have and they're all here in Norway. It'd break my heart to have to leave them. So it looks like I'll be staying.

This helps me sleep because it reminds Me of the times where the sleep was the best. On a long drive on a rainy or cold night with condensation on the windows from the hot car lying spread through the back seats and falling asleep with my coat as my blanket. Will forever miss those days

Thus video eased my anxiety. I have PTSD and falling asleep alone makes me feel anxious. This video calmed me because it tricked my brain into thinking "You're in a vehicle. Someone us driving. You aren't alone and you're safe." I did have a nightmare but waking up was much easier because I convinced my brain before I fell asleep that someone would be there.

Nighttime car rides are the best. I'm always soothed by the calmness of the road at night, into a meditation-like trance or even sleep. And times where I'm wide awake, I love looking at the city lights in the distance. I always think it's pretty.
I am a long haul trucker, and when i first started i HATED night shift driving. Then i developed an appreciation for it over time. It can be quite peaceful, i put on audio books or relaxing music and just enjoy the drive and empty roads now.
This reminds me of when my father used to drive way back home from the beach and the farm, I loved to put my face over the car window and see the nightsky while feeling the air massaging my face, those warm colors from the tunnels and the city, as well as the bright red and blue lights from the cars were everything, this video is so calming, so relaxing, so nostalgic.
always reminds me of the vacations I had as a kid with na parents. my dad always drove over night and I just loved waking up at 5AM when the car got off the highway and is slowly cruising around a small coast town in search for our vacation home. it so comforting to me. takes me back to a time I didn’t have to worry about anything.
Late night drives like this one are what I consider "my happy place". Whenever I get anxious, stressed, worried or have a panic attack... I think of being here. Front seat/back seat/driver, these drives always give me a sense of comfort and a chance to self reflect on my mental health and life. As I pass the vibrant yellow streetlights, as another car passes by me and I see his bright headlights slowly grow smaller, I just sit there in the car admiring the night while cruising to my infinite playlist. If I could stay on one late night drive forever where I could reflect on what I've done already and what I want to do with my life in the future... I would take that opportunity.

When i was a kid we used to always drive everywhere (Europe) on hollidays. This video reminds me of the trips back home, 5 of us in the car. Dad's driving, everyone is asleep except for him and me. I can just hear the faint radio while i stare out of the window. "Only 500 kilometers left", i think to myself as i see us on the gps. I wish i could go back to those days
During these hard times, I just love going back to this video and just chilling while I do my homework in the dark, pretending that I'm in the car with someone. I'm trying to get all my work done as soon as possible so when we get to our destination, I'll be free. And although it isn't exactly like that, the cycle repeats and I get the satisfaction of then sleeping in your "car". Thank you so much.
In my opinion this is the best time to drive! Especially if your going to the airport and it is a nice and relaxing moment and quite with almost no traffic. It really reminds me of my childhood.

This reminds me of New Years, when my family would go to our friends house and have a huge party. I always sat in the corner and played with the dogs, but I was still tired, even when I usually fall asleep at midnight. The car was so peaceful and I’d fall into drowsiness and then asleep. I’d usually wake up in my bed, and to be honest I didn’t hate those times.
I'm 15, I'd be in the back seat just looking out the window.. every body going the speed limit then some cool looking car just comes flying overtaking every one , my favorite thing I like seeing while in a car lol , nice vid

me and my family used to go on a load road trip every year in the middle east to makkah and madina in saudi arabia. they are some of my favorite memories ever. there is nothing else like peaceful highways and random, remote gas stations and towns. also i loved keeping track of other families doing the exact same thing as us. some of them we'd see stopping with us at many gas stations. deep into a different country people would see the number plates on our car and sometimes greet us.
You have no idea how much I needed this video. With COVID and the lockdowns, life has been difficult. Not being able to go out at night to concerts and events with friends and family, has been something I have been missing so much. Thank you so much for posting this.
I always end up asleep in a car. I've always had difficulties falling asleep at night as a kid (and now adult) It got so bad that my parents would drive around the block to get me to nod off. I don't know if it's the motions of the car, the sound, the feeling but... I'm really happy that you made this. I spend a lot of nights awake, half giving up on falling asleep. I seek out comfort in ASMR and soothing music/voices. Breathing sounds. Rn I'm on medication to help me sleep, but this will help me cross over in comfort. Nighttime car rides are the best. I'm always soothed by the calmness of the road at night, into a meditation-like trance or even sleep. And times where I'm wide awake, I love looking at the city lights in the distance. I always think it's pretty.

I am a long haul trucker, and when i first started i HATED night shift driving. Then i developed an appreciation for it over time. It can be quite peaceful, i put on audio books or relaxing music and just enjoy the drive and empty roads now.

This reminds me of when my father used to drive way back home from the beach and the farm, I loved to put my face over the car window and see the nightsky while feeling the air massaging my face, those warm colors from the tunnels and the city, as well as the bright red and blue lights from the cars were everything, this video is so calming, so relaxing, so nostalgic.
always reminds me of the vacations I had as a kid with na parents. my dad always drove over night and I just loved waking up at 5AM when the car got off the highway and is slowly cruising around a small coast town in search for our vacation home. it so comforting to me. takes me back to a time I didn’t have to worry about anything.

Late night drives like this one are what I consider "my happy place". Whenever I get anxious, stressed, worried or have a panic attack... I think of being here. Front seat/back seat/driver, these drives always give me a sense of comfort and a chance to self reflect on my mental health and life. As I pass the vibrant yellow streetlights, as another car passes by me and I see his bright headlights slowly grow smaller, I just sit there in the car admiring the night while cruising to my infinite playlist. If I could stay on one late night drive forever where I could reflect on what I've done already and what I want to do with my life in the future... I would take that opportunity.

This reminds me when I was young and I was used to seat in the backseat whit my father driving in the summer nights. I had the fresh air on my legs. This combo between the night driving and the air conditioning on my legs gave me the best feeling ever. Shivering on my back all the travel. Who the same?

This reminds me of when my mom and dad were driving me and my sis to Disney World a month or two ago and we arrived at the hotel at like 11 pm and the drive there was so peaceful and relaxing just like the driving in this video. When i was a kid we used to always drive everywhere (Europe) on hollidays. This video reminds me of the trips back home, 5 of us in the car. Dad's driving, everyone is asleep except for him and me. I can just hear the faint radio while i stare out of the window. "Only 500 kilometers left", i think to myself as i see us on the gps. I wish i could go back to those days
During these hard times, I just love going back to this video and just chilling while I do my homework in the dark, pretending that I'm in the car with someone. I'm trying to get all my work done as soon as possible so when we get to our destination, I'll be free. And although it isn't exactly like that, the cycle repeats and I get the satisfaction of then sleeping in your "car". Thank you so much.

In my opinion this is the best time to drive! Especially if your going to the airport and it is a nice and relaxing moment and quite with almost no traffic. It really reminds me of my childhood.

This reminds me of New Years, when my family would go to our friends house and have a huge party. I always sat in the corner and played with the dogs, but I was still tired, even when I usually fall asleep at midnight. The car was so peaceful and I’d fall into drowsiness and then asleep. I’d usually wake up in my bed, and to be honest I didn’t hate those times.

me and my family used to go on a load road trip every year in the middle east to makkah and madina in saudi arabia. they are some of my favorite memories ever. there is nothing else like peaceful highways and random, remote gas stations and towns. also i loved keeping track of other families doing the exact same thing as us. some of them we'd see stopping with us at many gas stations. deep into a different country people would see the number plates on our car and sometimes greet us.
You have no idea how much I needed this video. With COVID and the lockdowns, life has been difficult. Not being able to go out at night to concerts and events with friends and family, has been something I have been missing so much. Thank you so much for posting this.
I always end up asleep in a car. I've always had difficulties falling asleep at night as a kid (and now adult) It got so bad that my parents would drive around the block to get me to nod off. I don't know if it's the motions of the car, the sound, the feeling but... I'm really happy that you made this. I spend a lot of nights awake, half giving up on falling asleep. I seek out comfort in ASMR and soothing music/voices. Breathing sounds. Rn I'm on medication to help me sleep, but this will help me cross over in comfort.
So, thank you random stranger: You've just made my life a little bit easier tonight... And hopefully in the near future if this keeps working.
