I honestly thought for a little bit there that this was an updated prototype of the nerf blaster. Most wouldn't question it from a distance.
i do low key hope the stock comes off like that tho because it would be kind of cool in a way if they came out with an extended stock version or something else entirely just to make it have that changeability like the recon cs-6 had way back in the day

thanks, I just got the beginner's luck. The more I dig into the foam blaster the less capability I had. So many talented people had created amazing foam blasters decades ago.

If you can make a functioning ammo counter for the official Hasbro blaster, I would gladly buy the files off you to make one myself. This is exactly what the official blaster needs, and there's plenty of room inside it for the electronics. I was just planning on gutting a Chronobarrel to make my own, but the software and hardware you have here beats that option by far.
This is an incredible blaster, and I can't wait to see what you do next. You've definitely earned my subscription.
The official MA40 ammo counter is sitting on the rail. It would be difficult to integrate all functions on it(too many wires needed to connect). I believe a bunch of people have already received this blaster and started to do greater jobs than mine. I am not sure when I could get one from the local vendor shops. It would be possible for someone to release a great mod before mine. Be an amateur here, greatly appreciated your reply and attention! Be fun with nerf.
t0mmy110 There is nothing amateur about that blaster you've built. It's a work of art, and I wish I was as talented as you are. I've tried my hands at a lot of creative stuff like this, but I've never made something as simultaneously complicated and clean as the blaster you've created. I haven't given up on my goals, and this video has definitely been both entertaining and encouraging. Thank you for sharing.

Cool blaster, it have working ammo counter, and flashlight! It is gonna be a best Nerf gun ever made! I think everyone would definitely buy this Halo Reach MA37-style assault rifle. I would get this October once it released, and officially named MA40! Gonna love this MA37 assault rifle!

It was based on Toy Fair 2020 nerf ma40 model and I implemented all the features it should have. The good news is it could be pre-ordered from Amazon UK till July one, the bad news is I am not in UK can't get one to modify.

Your prototype is way cooler than the final version which has a faux ammo counter and no flashlight. I would not have been disappointed had I not seen this prototype. Any idea if they will release any official mods or add-ons?

What screen did you use? It looks bigger than the normal OLED. I’d like to look at it’s specs
I used a normal 1.3" OLED (SH1106) with little tweaks.

sorry, I made this one just for fun didn't expect sb would pay for it. So it's fully integrated and less flexibility compatible with the official version. But I believe when the official release halo series products, there will be plenty of similar mods on Patreon. ^^
