I show them to my second graders! I make sure they are age appropiriate ones of course. We talk about the kindess or theme in the video and how they can show the same characteristic in their lives :)
You just about ripped my heart out when you said you were an orphan. We are all so blessed by a loving Heavenly Father who loves us and created families for us to be a part of here on this beautiful earth. Happy Fathers Day Steve.
We love your stories. Good for the hearts. Kindness is the act, that the deaf can see and the blind can feel it. Kindness change lives and change the world. Please continue to spread the kindness. We're deperately needed more than ever. Happy Father's Day to you Steve Hartman !!!
Thanks for, once again, reminding me WHY I love "On the Road with Steve Hartman:. I never fail to smile... maybe shed a tear or two... and also once again, knowing what it means to be kind, show love, and find the good in everything. Happy Father's Day!
No one tells a story like Steve! Even though I’ve seen some of these I still love watching them again. They reach every emotion there is: sadness, happiness, longing for your own parents (hopefully). Thanks for such great reporting Steve. Thanks to your wife and kids for letting you be such a huge part of the American peoples lives!!
What a wonderful selfless act of kindness these men are doing for ALL the children in this school. These men love their children and all the other children enough to make a difference by showing up to help eliminate the problem. This needs to be a practice in every school, what a difference could be made to stop the violence. Thank you guys, great job.
Fathers of the Bride… you gave your daughter the greatest gift of all❤❤”Dads On Duty” what a brilliant idea and the kids love it🎉🎉All of you Fathers are deserving of the very best ❤
I didn't check the comments but I guess there are a lot of people like me, who didn't have a father and watch those videos with both sadness and with awe. Thank you, Steve, for letting us fill our "father tanks". God is a father, yet we still need those human examples.
This series is my "manna from heaven" in a dark world. I could comment on every story but it would take too long!! Please Mr. Hartman....never stop! They are a light and a beacon of hope!
Lot of great parents they are to get their children to do that I wish I had help and lot of ways but my kids do good the way they are I'm proud of your dad who did it will all we can do for you
Steve, you are a true blessing to this weary world. I’m SO glad my TH-cam feed steered me right to this. You got me through the COVID spring of 2020 with the help of your wonderful children, and I miss you! (We don’t have TV service.) But I’ll try to find you more often! Thanks for this sweet Fathers Day offering. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️😊
I am so glad to come across this show. I work evening shift and missed almost all of the TV shows. Watching this now with smile through (good) tears. Nice to see good, positive show for a change. Thank you!
Amazing stories. I have seen some before. But, I cried through this whole video! Beautiful stories! Thank you, Steve, for always sharing such heartfelt stories! I’m sorry for your loss of your dad. What a blessing that you had such a wonderful dad. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
I am a Photographer. Some of the Best yet hardest photographs I have taken were Two Dads walking their daughters down the isle. Yes I have had many others but these were always a Win in my mind!
I live in the U.K. and we’ve never had the privilege of Steve, he seems to be of similar age so has my respect. Unfortunately I’m a disabled veteran from the Royal Air Force , I’m clinically vulnerable at risk of Covid etc, etc, would still love to give forward but can’t think of a way to do that without putting myself at risk. I’m not rich enough to be a secret Santa ….I wish I was because that would make it simple. I really wish we had dads on duty and “ three wishes” in the U.K. when the weather improves towards spring and summer I’m going to look for the homeless people where I live and just try and improve someone’s life. Even with nothing to give I still have the need to share.
Thank you. Keeping up the good in humanity. It often brings tears to my eyes, but joy in my heart and makes me want to be a better person. Thank you Steve and CBS.
Absolutely you guys need to start this with other schools with other fathers this is so awesome and isn't even funny maybe this will be the end of gun violence I pray violence and fighting more parents need to step into schools and take care of their children and help out and ways if they can if they can't cuz I know people have jobs
