it IS Sophie’s fault for not looking over the course. Gabby didn’t even need to help her. Go take a picture before you get on and study the course. It’s not that hard to try.
Sophie shouldn’t be saying that it’s not her fault that she forgot the course and instead blame Gabby for a mistake. Sophie is old enough to learn how to read and memorize a course. It’s her fault and no one else’s, and I’m not meaning to sound rude or anything but it’s definitely not Gabbys fault when she’s not the one showing
Very much agree. She’s only enough to take responsibility. Your caller is only supposed to help you, you should be able to know roughly where you’re going in case they slip up!
Sophie's saddle doesn't fit her it's wayyyy to small for her! She needs a buggers saddle one that will fit both horse and rider!

They are aware. They are leasing Lady right now to make sure she is the right horse for Sophie and if they commit to her they will get a saddle that fits them both.
They know, they just haven’t done anything about it yet, which tbh idk why they continue to do shows knowing the saddle doesn’t fit, lessons is one thing but shows?

I said she sabotaged her and I was very clearly joking. Absolutely no one in this video was actually upset with gabby. Now that wr know she can't read the course. Just like I can't we will have her coach teach her. Her coach has always told her the course. She never got an opportunity to learn
@@DayByDayVlogsrespectfully she could be using cones or other obstacles at home to practice remembering courses! It’s also not her coaches fault that’s she’s always been given direction. You should be working on it outside of lessons!

Learning the course is a really important thing for every jr rider to know how to do independently. By this point Sophie should be able to learn the course herself and then go over it with a trainer. Because I hear the trainer in the background it should have been his job to go over the second course with Sophie but her job to know it first.
It will be really good once Sophie get a saddle that fits her legs and seat. I know it’s a transition but I would be on the lookout at your local tack store etc even if it’s a rental or something.
You guys have more excuses for ever thing sophia has been riding long enough no excuses
Instead of blaming someone else for her mistake, she should be taking responsibility. She's old enough to learn and remember the course. She's the one showing, not Gabby. Gabby shouldn't have to memorize Sophie's course. If she wants to show, she needs to learn how to read a course. Ask your trainer, you could probably look it up, ask other riders.

She definitely was not sabotaged at the horseshoe, but it would be so nice if you would ever ever get that poor girl. I settled that fit her. You can't even see the saddle underneath her that has got to be both uncomfortable for her and the horse. I've never seen her in a saddle that fits her ever. What is up with that? That poor girl?
I Sophie needs a bigger jacket, that one is too tight and the sleeves are too short. It is nobody’s fault Sophie forgot the course except Sophie. She forgot the course at her previous show. Is this going to be her recurring excuse? If she can’t make a concentrated effort to memorize the course she needs to do to compete, DON’T COMPETE! Also, Gabby and Laura, NO COACHING FROM THE SIDELINES while rider and horse are being judged, not only will you be warned about it but, she could be disqualified.
Its a schooling show where all the coaches and others coach from the sideline. It's too bad sophie never learned to read the course. She absolutely can watch the others go ahead of her and see the course. I will get brandaan to help her read the course now that we know she can't do it.

Definitely important to study the course and know it by heart, I grew up doing dressage and trail classes it’s a lot similar with where do you go at what time it’s a lot to remember but if you practice it at home it makes it so much easier in a show to do! You should set up a practice course at home!
Sophie should really not be saying she can’t read it and blame it on Gabby! That seems to be a theme to blame it on Gabby….
We were all joking around about gabby.
Sophie is over 12 and she can't read a course! if she looked at is for a few minutes anyone would be able to figure it out! its like Cinderella, Sophie is the step sister and poor gabby is Cinderella!

I know dang well that if I didn’t have the skill to learn my course and ride it correctly, my parents wouldn’t take me to a show. I’ve read the comments, my genuine question is how has she been riding all these years and still not know how to read a course? I’m not trying to to be rude or anything but I’m genuinely curious…. I know she must know how to read a course because literally Fiona taught all her lesson students… it’s in previous videos from way back. Anyways that show did not look fun….. everyone was clearly trying their hardest despite it being a muddy mess😅

It's so sad when people chime in that are not the family or Laura or Sophie or Sam that make any comments back to people saying I don't feel that it is nasty. They are just trying to help Sophie to be able to ride better show better and the horse be comfortable. Why would that be nasty to say the saddle doesn't fit. People always tell you things like that and I don't start crying or get upset I think. Oh thank you for saying that. How kind and go out and look for a saddle. I mean you can't be that offensive and be so down about yourself. It's not bad. It's good and that's why they're trying to help
Maybe Sophie should stick to playing star stable she isn’t capable of showing or riding. Lord you guys can’t even get a saddle to fit the poor horse
