Hello friends,
In today's session we'll be learning how to apply our powerful "staircase" arpeggio trick to minor keys. We'll begin by learning our natural minor scale on a single string before targeting the half-step intervals in that scale to apply this ear catching technique. Let's get started!

You’re an amazing teacher
Wow thx!!!
Thank you so much for this! I've just recently bought an electric guitar (I'm an acoustic guy) and am learning how to solo. This tutorial was very clear and helped me come up with a killer solo for a song I'm working on. Keep on doing these! 🙏🙏🙏
That was a great lesson I hope to learn that, thank you.
Flamenco flavor! Thanks for the variety of styles!
Awesome lesson Rob very beneficial
Wow, Great lesson for minor scale technique.. Thanks 🎸swiftlessons🎸
Great lesson! As always.
That works because in the harmonized minor scale the 3rd degree of the scale is the Relative Major tonic and it harmonizes to a Cmaj7.
The 6th degree harmonizes to a major 7th chord as well. Remember the 6th is the 4th degree of the relative major scale.
God bless you more sir Swift lesson

Hi, great lesson but please clarify when you say this is in key of A - do you actually mean key of A minor ? The reason is I am trying to figure out which chords to use to practice the A minor arpeggios you are demonstrating ?
That's a super cool lesson
This also works with major shapes
Yup, that was the previous lesson, how to apply this in Fmaj. Extremely useful, maybe even more so in major keys.
انت رائع
So you're just playing the 2 major 7 chords in a key the 1 and 4?
HI I subscribed to you and sadly Patreon have issues - I am not able to login and they tell me they don't recognise my email address, and they don't reply to account queries. I am paying for nothing. Can you do anything?
I’m definitely willing to help you trouble shoot this. Shoot me a message with your full name and email address on the Swiftlessons Facebook page. It could be that your email had a typo when you signed up, whatever it is I’m sure we can get to the bottom of it.
