Key stuck in ignition 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor

How to remove a key that was stuck in the ignition. Easy fix . Saves you some money .

Holy shit this worked - 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor.
It seems like I fucked up by putting it in park a split second before I was totally stopped and heard a weird noise, the key wouldn't budge past accessory, but would turn on.
Opened up he console and the spring was off, reattached it in and it worked.
