If you don't want to full out bawl your eyes out ugly crying don't watch Arcane on camera. Definitely watch Arcane just maybe alone. I'm a 30 yo dude who put this on on a whim and binged the whole series and cried like a baby at least 3 times.
Trundle doesn't have that ability in itself, but his club was a gift from Lissandra and is a weapon made of true ice. These weapons are special because only the Iceborn (people from the Freljord born with the ability to resist the pain that holding true ice causes) can wield them. What's so cool about this scene is that you can see when the true ice affects Darius's weapon. He's like, "Nope, that hurts," and throws it away. Then, in the end, he gets his axe again and endures the pain of true ice even though he's not an Iceborn, which is really badass. You can see how his hand ends up all frozen, and even his eye is in bad shape!
Blizzard had something similar with the trailers before the announcement for every expansion but it doesn't hit the same when you gotta wait like 2 years to get another, also the only audio story told in Legion for Turalyon and Alleria was one of the BEST stuff blizz made to get engaged with the plot and they fucking dropped it after one try even though it was awesome lol they don't do anything cuz it requires passion and blizz is completely dry
My favorite scenes would EASILY have to be when Darius is walking out cause I mean, that's badass. And then when you see through Elise's spider view and Katarina is SMILING AT HER, not only does Katarina look amazing in that shot, but just to have the guts and confidence to do that is 🤌
The only reason they wouldn't do genderbend skins is having to completely re-record every single voice line with a new voice actor, which would probably be prohibitively expensive. They only do that for the legendary skins (the ones that are like 40 bucks), so it's technically possible, but likely not worth the effort. Also, Can we talk about the thing Leblanc was drawing on the wall at the end there? My first guess was that it's Naafiri's dagger, but it doesn't quite match the design. It's DEFINITELY a Darkin, but the new Darkin who's supposed to be coming out soon is supposed to be a war axe, and that DEFINITELY looks like a dagger. I have no idea what they're hinting at with it, but I cannot WAIT for all the non-league players who fell in love with Arcane to learn just how expansive and badass the lore of the rest of the world is.
so they're attempting to merge the canon of league with the canon of arcane now which from what I've seen could get messy for a variety of reasons, firstly it seems some league stories don't necessarily mesh super well with the world arcane has built and also some people feel like the arcane incarnations of certain characters are too much of a departure from their league versions and they don't want to lose the league versions, this is most prominent with Viktor, I've seen people say Arcane Viktor is a bit too similar to Malzahar. So even though this is a trailer for a season of league, they are directly referencing things that happened in Arcane and this trailer is pretty directly a continuation of certain Noxus related plot threads from season 2 of Arcane. Also Trundles club is true ice and darius is not iceborn, that's why the ice thing happened. Also you should watch Arcane, it's very good and it's understandable why they want to align the canon with Arcane more, even if it maybe isn't the best idea.

In the lore the summoner rift (or any other map) doesnt exist so no the champions will never reunite and say now we are in lol especialy when we now that asol is a celestial star dragon and milio is just a kid it make no sense for the kid to live more than 3 seconds. Also in the lore the champions are not really how they are in game, Trundle has a special weapon (true ice) who freeze to death people who are not like him (iceborn), Ashe Sej Braum have the same kind of weapon so that's why the axe of Darius freeze and it become painful to hold it
This is why you should watch the next season of arcane and wonder why the next season is noxious instead of asking dumb questions asking why is the next season with the next season you would know
