Don't forget the hardtail love. My 2020 Nimble 9 has been a revelation for me, to the point that I sold my full suspension Cannondale. Someday, maybe, I'll come looking for a Tilt. At this point though that steel frame hardtail has made mountain biking more fun than it's ever been for me before. It's magic.

This company is so shady! Order a in stock bike to be told its actually not in stock. Wait over 4 weeks past the initial delay which was 3-4weeks! Two months go by with no phone call with an update so I had to cancel my order. You thought it couldn't get worse, just wait! After getting the run around from "Lance" himself on my refund on a bike they never shipped, I ended up having to file a claim with my card company! What a shame on these guys! Buy any other brand but SCAMFIELD!
I've raced with and for Chris and Lance and the Jedi was the most amazing bike ever!!!(I clocked 77.8 mph on it and was in the top 10 Strava times on Detroit Rock city at Whistler BC) I wish I never sold it to get my Balance but my next bike will definitely be the One thank you Lance and Chris for everything.
I have been riding my second hand 2013 Nimble 9 hardtail for 5 years now. I love the thing to death and am currently running it as a SS. I am currently in college right now, so I don't have extra money for bikes, but when I am out, a new N9 or TILT will be purchased. The frames they make are high quality and beautiful in my fanboy opinion. The N9 is the best smile per mile bike I have ever ridden.
I had the pleasure of riding bikes with Lance in Northwest Arkansas several years back on a Mojo Cycling shop ride. A lot of custom Canfield bikes were shold out of that shop. He's so down to earth that you would have absolutely no clue he co-owned a bike company. You will not find a bike that's more stable than the Canfield Balance. I have two buddies who have one, and I think they are both circa 2015 or 2016, and they have both tried other bikes, but continue to ride them. They are what they say they are...balanced, and the suspension design makes riding them over chunk....like nothing else. They're a little heavier than other bikes in that class, but when you point them downhill...they shine.

A guy who obviously eats, sleeps, breathes, MTB. Personally speaking, as a successful small business owner, I'd rather put my money on Lance and his devoted company. I've experienced the lack of resolve that came from Salsa when I recently cracked the seat stay on my Pony Rustler carbon frame. A smaller company is better in my opinion. It's one of the reasons I pre-ordered a new Tilt from Canfield. Looks to be a totally dialed-in bike! The CBF suspension, well-chosen parts, and frame geometry look to be a perfect balance. Can't wait to hit the trails with it.
@@huskv250 What do you recommend for brakes? I do some technical downhill, would 2-piston brakes be enough? Or should I go 4? I'm thinking of 203mm rotors which would definitely help with heat fade either way.

Anyone knows if the Lithium will pedal/climb like a Ripmo ? I know Revel bikes do pedal as efficient as DW-Link bikes... just wondering if the Lithium is the Ripmo killer.

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2017 Riot custom build in near mint condition with about half the parts being new or damn close to it. Do you think that would be a wise decision in 2021? Price is about 2K and I'm having a hard time finding any other lightly used or new bikes in my size at that price point that seem like they'd be a better buy. Dude, do it. I'm building an EPO and by the time I'm done I'll have $1600 into it or so. That's with a free frame and RockShox Pike I got from a friend. I think that's a fair price for a full build, especially if half of it is near new.
Not sure but I’ve had a 2nd hand riot for 3 or 4 seasons and it’s still structurally as fit as the day I picked it up. I push it further than it prob was meant for and crash pretty consistently also if that helps. Best set up I’ve had and until now that they’ve released a longer travel 29er. I haven’t really wanted anything else. Cant wait to get on a lithium.
Have a 2017 Balance that's raw alu. Just got the Revel Rail to have a lighter bike. I actually prefer the way the Balance looks. It has an industrial steam punk vibe. The raw alu is stunning and is built like a tank. Although I like the Rail, I still prefer how nimble the Balance handles. The super short chain stays makes it a fun flickable bikes.

I would almost like to see a fully Nimble with Cromo CBF. Could be pretty dope if done right. maybe an alloy link for some lateral rigidity.
