Took a week to get mine, they say the distance is pre set, but you will have to adjust it as the magnets aren’t powerful enough to rotate both parts, I had to set my distance at 1 inch, fairly satisfied with it
I’ve ordered one Dennis but looking at this video it looks like the magnet on the jaw gets in the way a little it looks like it needs to move back or some how make the jaws magnetic just looks a bit tricky keeping the line between the 2 magnets.
Just wondering if you tie an 18 hook the a twelve hook , they are different in size so do you have to measure how far you put the hook in the jaws so they fit perfectly in your rig box ?
Hi I’ve just reserved my ZT lite .why are my magnetic shoulders plastic it clearly shows in the video that they are steel . I’ve assembled the ZT lite and I’ve connected the magnets to the plastic shoulders as show in the description by pushing them into place and the plastic groove on one side as split not happy to be honest .The item looks very cleverly made. But the plastic shoulders cant be right looks to flimsy have they sent me the right ones I don’t no so I’ll be in contact with gizmo angling tomorrow and ask the question.
Hi l got in touch with gizmo and I’m very please with the out come the comment I made about the plastic magnetic shoulders been flimsy and broke when been assembled I’ve now reserved the one that as been shown in the video what a great bit of kit very happy thanks again to gizmo angling and the team for making a great bit of kit 👍
i think this thing little bit slow. as normal fisherman can tye 2hook links in 1.20min and this machine looks a lot slower if you would do 1meter hook links or 50-70cm. i now its new and it needs to be sold for people who like new testing new toys. just my opinion
This machine is like lighting i can tye 100 12inch hoolengths in 1 hour all perfect on spade end or eyed hooks Dennis is going slow for the tutorial you should see him tye them at the shows etc ZT LITE is fantastic quality for so little money 55 pound the build quality is second to none it's not till you use 1 that you appreciate just how good they are i tye all my rigs by hand but once i used this machine i knew just how good it is tye bands baitspikes bayonets quick stops all perfect on a spade end hook nothing like the ZT hook tyers SIMPLY THE BEST.Alien

Just started putting the zt light together only to find I have not got all the pieces.
