Greetings from Finland. Music is truly an international language. The violin is a new instrument to me and even though I do not understand everything you are saying I am able to follow most of your tutorials. I am unfamiliar with many of the Urdu/Hindi melodies you are teaching and would find it helpful if you would you considered playing the entire melody along with your tutorial. As for your morning practice. This is really interesting & I'd like to include it with my routine. Are you improvising this morning practice or is it a melody? Thank you for posting, your instructions are very helpful.
Your practice is so pleasing to the ears. Mine is so painful. Thanks for posting such beneficial content for us learners. I love you channel. Also, kindly post a video on achieving the vibrato on the violin. I really want to do it someday on my violin.
@Pallavi Bajpai. When I read your comment I remembered a funny Italian curse: "May you have a first year violin student as your neighbor!" Humor apart, please do not be discouraged by the initial unpleasant tones! Slowly, but SURELY, the nice sounds will come from your bow and fingers! It will take some time. But the sweet sounds will emerge. Please do not give up! Your self-created music will bring you joy! And even more can happen! Ananda itself can emerge! Best wishes from an autodidact!
@@DKMKartha108 Haha, the Italian curse example was very funny. Thank you so much. Yes, I won't ever give up. One year has passed when I commented here. I have improved considerably over the year :)

bro , which raagas were they? I was listening to this video and my mom started asking about the ragas...she was enthralled by your performance (she has completed BA in hindustani music)......I can hear such morning practices for long time...amazing bro.
Thank you for uploading this video. Pleasing to the ears and motivating to the mind:) Just a curious question - wondering why the tabs or markings on the fretboard are not consistent across the 4 strings. Are your open notes tuned differently?
Your welcome. Each string has different intonation, thats why markings are different on each string. Study intonation and you will know more clearly. I hope my answer helped
@@ustaadjee70 Oh thats interesting. By intonations, did you mean gamakas in general or something specific? I am just beginning to learn the nuances and will be on the look out for what you mentioned

Well there are no branded violins here so you have to listen and check it by yourself. Otherwise you can buy any beginner model of Cecilio brand violin from amazon
I am learning Indian classical violin but I feel that it will be appropriate to learn Western voilin becoz it's the base and tradition of violin.... What should I do pls suggest me something
After seeing your tutorials on roja janeman and Chanda re, it would be really helpful if you could create a seperate tutorial for "tu hi rey" as well. It will become a complete tribute to AR Rahman.
Hello! I wanted to know how you made those markings there on fingerpositions of voilin cz i want to mark the same...so that it helps me to learn fast..insted guessing s positions..and if I could get ur watsp no.for some guidance...thnq😊😊🙌
Easy Music Tutorials Gamaks are heavy ornamentations and characterised by a heavier to and fro movement of the finger than softer ones used in the meend. A slow gamak technically becomes a meend.
Please add playing notes as well. It's very helpful for every one.
Excellent 👍
Very good, improvised music, please add the music sheet and where gamakam is used by legato sign between the notes.

Thanks alot. Its a morning practice not a melody. I usually practice gamakas on violin. You can say it is a slides that you do on violin.
Easy Music Tutorials Thank you for a quick reply. So your morning is not improvised, is it a scale with slides?

Wow.. Thanks a lot.. Just a question.. Why and how a sitting position makes a difference while playing such classical style?
Well to me it is bit easier to play Indian style while sitting. Although is can also be played while standing

It doesn't matter, because the base of all music is same. Onward comes style of playing, whether Indian or Western.
Any video is available of correct holding of violin.

me too, i want to know how to make those marks
You’re actually playing meend here, not gamak. Isn’t it?
Kindly tell me the tempo difference of meend and gamaks. And if gamaks are practiced slow then would it be called meend or gamaks?
