Hopefully you can follow the step-by-step instructions to get the MiniLab 3 connected and working with your computer and with your DAW. In my case, I'm connecting it with Pro Tools, but the keyboard can be used with other DAWs as well.

"Stay inspired"... brother, this is just the video I needed. A down to earth, chill setup showing the basics n tiny bit extra; showing that you can map the drum pad to specific notes?? Just dipping my toes into digital home studio waters for the mental health vibes of it (used to enjoy creating music amateur time when I was younger), seeing that one little feature though, inspired is perfect wording, my friend =)

Hi DSoundman, I have just purchased this Midi Controller. Do you know if it works OK with Studio One DAW? If so, I guess its a similar process to using it with Protools? Also, how do you change Pad banks between A & B?

Question… if i turn the master bass of a preset completely down to -10 dB does that cut out all of the low frequencies or are they just not hearable anymore ? Sorry I’m a newb and would appreciate some help on this many thanks 🙏

Hi there, I m currently using pt for mixing, Logic Pro for music arranging. I am not expecting the DAW control problem could be solved on Pro-tools and it seems doesn't from ur updated video list. The DAW control problem also doesn't work with the logic pro, it didn't response as same as their official video.
Does it Work standAlone like The Akai mini? For live looping and gigs? With no computer?
What if you’re using an iPad…are drivers available for it? Too, iPads only have one usb port (mine’s an iPad Pro so I have a usb c) so if it’s used for power, how do you get it and the minilab “talking” to each other? A Usb hub?
I just got mine. But I cannot integrate the knobs, faders and the main menu button to work. Please can you do a video to help us know how to set parameters using Arturia Midi Control Center. Thank you.

Hi there, my Focusrite Audio Interface does not have Midi in... will I be able to use the MiniLab3 anyway through the USB connection? I'm using a Mac and Logic Pro X sorry for the dumb question, I'm a guitar player. lol
Have you had any luck getting transport control? I've tried custom setups in MIDI Control Center with no luck.

why can I only download version control center 1.1? and there was no DEVICE SETTINGS button?
I must have missed where you hooked the controller to the PC, not the USB I thought that was for update and power, I mean when you use it for music. Does it not need a midi cable from the device via a interface?
The USB cable is used for the midi messages as well as the updates and power!
If I buy from someone, which they have registered on their computer.
Can I still download the from the same QR code on my own computer?

I just bought the mini lab 3 for my MacBook Pro (2021-22) I can only connect it with a usb hub since my laptop does not have a USB-A port. However on the Arturia site it says you shouldn’t use a usb port. Is there any way around this?? Also, when I try to update the firmware it says that the application is not available in my country but I’m in the US. I need answers 😭 this is my first time using a midi controller.
You can use a type c to type c cable. I use it did the update and everything, works fine

I had to update in Arturia software center
Its impossible for me LOL...how can I reset everything? Somehow I managed to store some sort of SCENE OR PRESET and its impossible to get rid of it...every preset I try to load on MINILAB the previous scene or sound is there...impossible to play!

I do not understand, why they include an usb-c to usb-a cable. Why not usb-c to usb-c?
Agree. My MinLab3 would not work properly with the supplied cable and my USBC only ported MacBook when used with a C to A adapter. With a C to C cable it worked as advertised.
If a motherboard does not have any USB C ports then there is no way to connect the Keyboard. USB A is an expectation to have on any custom PC setup.
so simple to resolve. Send two cables, one usc c to usb and a usb c to usb c 😅

Because pcs only have a usb a. Especially desktops.

The strangest video I've seen in the last 2-3 years in a review of equipment for musicians. 11 minutes of talking about the keyboard, and never once did you hear any sound of new sounds in the updated programs for Arturius, just a pity for the lost 11 minutes. Do NOT make such long videos - on television there is a rule that a person perceives information for no more than 2 minutes, anything longer than that a person practically does not perceive.
It's not a review tho, it's kind of a setup tutorial. And you can just skip 5~10 seconds with the arrow key like I did if you are not interested in what his showing
