I was so disappointed when Mark left but Lemmo just takes it to a new level every week. What will you say is one of the best songs Buckely wrote, stunning.
Wandering Surf, I have 57 Lemmo Gibsons. There were three last week (54' Les Paul Goldtop, 97' L-5 Wes Mongomery, 93' Les Paul Limited Edition). Did you miss one of these?
Kind of a cool rendition of Tele Tuesday! Michael had no idea around his way of a Ricky, so that was refreshing to see. In the end, he did it Proud. As always. Mr. Lemmo, we all continue to be Amazed and Astounded by your skill with whatever you pick up.
Excellent Lemmo. I didn't think it was legal to pick up a Rick without playing at least two bars of the Beatles, but you always were an outlaw and rebel
I’ve owned only a couple of Rickenbackers-I had a ‘67 Fireglo 450 in the early ‘70s and a ‘74 Jetglo 381 in 1990-and I couldn’t get either of them to sound as good as that 335
I was convinced Buckley played a 12 string rickie on that, I was immediately put to shame trying to correct you. Speaking of, I definitely need another 83 tele vid
Such a unique sound those Ricks , I especially like the low end , sort of thumpy and chunky , that last song was the shit , that's a Lemmo if I'm not mistaken , very cool. Somethin a little different for Tele Tuesday , always fun , beautiful color , beautiful lines , always liked the Rickenbacker shape , looks good , thanks guys.
Nice sounding guitar, good to see the mixing it up. Lemmo your last diddy sounded good on that, like it fits with that Rick , as well as the other two.
When these models were first being produced, none of them had 24 frets. However, several versions with 24 frets started to materialize after the Rickenbacker product line was most successful. Can anybody pinpoint when that began? I’ve begun to convince myself that it actually began with Brian May on his Red Special and the standard manufacturers caught up to him, but I would not mind being proved wrong. Fascinating concept when you stop to think about it, a Tale of 24 frets.
Westchester, NY Community College, NY Rangers... I'd say this was a NY guitar sometime! Jeff Buckley song is nice to hear! A person who had so much more music to give and much not written yet!
Rickenbackers from this era often have a capacitor in the bridge pickup signal path that cuts some low end, making the pickup sound brighter but also weaker. Removing the cap adds some beef to the bridge pickup’s sound.
The Rickenbacker has a nice, deep, “plucky” tone, does it have a shorter scale length? It sounds like a jazz master 🤪 does Lemmo have any tab on the selection with both neck and bridge? Also, I’d like to say IN YOUR FACE to Norm, my Miami alma mater FIU beat UM for the first time in history 🤪

Love the Rickenbackers. Loved that last song.
Its nice to hear a unique voice for a change and this Ricky has it in spades.
I'm surprised we haven't heard any Smithereens when Lemmo picks up a Rickenbacker.

“Chilly” in LA... anything below 70... 😂
Basically.
I always enjoy watching Lemmo play even though he still doesn't know how to describe the wood the necks are made from. :-)
it's walnut right?? (looked just like the strip on the back to me, (but what do I know?)
If that'sthe kind of music you play when you have a Rickenbacker in your hands, please add this to the weekly rotation. That was amazing.
That was beautiful, thank you. And I was born in 1966 so I especially appreciate the date and the amp.
Breaking my heart with the Buckley. What an amazing song. Thank you.
Lemmo is killing it!!!
Favorite guitar of the day ever.
And that bridge pu -- YEEEAH
Very responsive and dynamic instrument. Good demo of it's subtle strengths.
I'm beginning to think Lemmo is Jeff Beck's son. That unique.
Let's all take a second to appreciate how good of a musician 'Lemo' is 🤙🏻
The second tune was fantastic. Really pretty. Gonna have to steal that progression. Really gorgeous.
Carmen Rago I've listened to this 3 times in a row..😁. *sigh*
Does anybody know the tuning?
@@carlitomang pretty sure it is open G since it’s safe as the the first Jeff riff
I really liked the bridge pickup sound. Might be weak but still has a unique tone

Bridge pickup has a bit of acoustic sound. It’s awesome!
Excellent Lemmo. I didn't think it was legal to pick up a Rick without playing at least two bars of the Beatles, but you always were an outlaw and rebel
Lemmo, you did it again ! Amazing playing and tone. Rickenbacker are still underrated guitars.
Looooove rickenbackers!!!
Kevin Parker uses one of those
True.
I wish they reissued this spec. too bad you can't custom order one :(
Beautiful playing
A 60's Ric 335, full on tame impala vibes!

Got to be the guy playing it. Lemmo strikes again! And I’ll never understand why Rickenbacker put the weaker pickup in the bridge position...
Lemmo is a gifted player. That Ricky sounds fabulous. Thanks
actually insane playing !!!
I was convinced Buckley played a 12 string rickie on that, I was immediately put to shame trying to correct you.

Love the tone and soul!, specially the last tune!!

Wow, great playing. Thank you so much!

You know what the second song tuning is trying to find it for ages
How good is the flying buckley in that Glastonbury performance! proper beautiful screaming :)
10/10 skill, Lemmo has the vibe
THANK YOU MICHAEL
Love the Ric and the playing Lemmo ! Thanks Jen !
Lemmo is a true rocker!!!
Very great sound
That last groove was real cool
Old Rickys had low frets.. this beauty looks to have modern tall frets. Are they replacements or surviving originals? Pretty in clear finish.
Should’ve played some tame impala on it!
That tuning sounds a little like my wife’s mountain dulcimer, cool!
Beautiful, must be nice working at NORM's..
I like this guitar, id love to have it in my collection
It's weird Everybody Wants a Rickenbacker but nobody ever buys one.
Very true, but you don’t see them too often at local music stores, at least I haven’t
There you go.
@@andrewptob that's true.
Well, I got my Rickenbacker 4003 back in February. Easily my best playing bass.
There basses have always sold.
Would love to hear more Buckley. He played so beautifully
Holy crap LemmoYou’ve outdone yourself
25 3/4 scale? Is that correct ? I’m thinking he meant to say 24 3/4 right ?
Yep -- I caught that, too.
Right it's 24 3/4 scale. I happen to have a Strat that is 25 3/4 scale. Fender had them and called them a long board Strat. Mine is not a Fender.
Love all rickenbackers !

That second little dilly.... link to the past dungeon theme with alittle change?
chilly in California. dark early means 8pm sunset
HELL YEAH! WHAT WILL YOU SAY BY LOVELY JEFF!!!
Jeff buckley- What will you say
Nice playing and sounds really cool. The fretboard looks like a high gloss refinish.
The original finish on my '66 330 fretboard is just as glossy. Their finishes really hold up.
what tuning is that second song in plz
I learned this Jeff Buckley song today... Then smashed it out the park... Oh my goodness...
Lemmo! Great playing! And, that 2nd song is beautiful, (whatever it is).
Do you know the tuning
A. J. Chen - no, I’m not a musician
Mike Lemmo, kudos, great playing. Do you do pick slant? Are you mono directional? Hi Jen!!
I had one for ten years😢
It would be cool to hear lemmo play orchid by black sabbath. Such an awesome song

Good job "LEMMO". I'm no Lemmo , but I'm a former Philly boy too!
Great camera work
AWESOME
amazing..
hey Lemmo, you've played that last song here once before, right? it's a great one.
that looks like some dam heavy strings on that rickenbacker !
What’s the name of the second song
Good job Lemmo! 👍👏
What is that last riff on the bridge pick-up?
dude popped on the rick!
This guys cool
great job dude
Lemmo killin that buckley son!!
Whats the name of the last song, i need to learn it
Agree to disagree on the "blend" knob
Nice work all the same!
Oh , and chilly? , its -15 and snowing here , with a snow fall warning in effect , not chilly , damn cold.
I love this guitar. Intonation was a bit off lol but it fucking rips!!! I need one!!!
Lovely to see you again guys! Nothing like a good Rick to start the week! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Why is the fretboard glossy?
Clear conversion varnish, same as is on the whole guitar.
Shiet, I love #LEMMOoriginals.
bridge pickup almost has the tele twang but with more mids in there.
🙌

Yeah, Gibson style 24.75
Anyone know the last song? Sounds familiar.
That guitar is a keeper. Wish I could afford it although it would never sound that good in my house. Has something to do with the player...
What's that middle song called??
Kool Rick n Bocker !!! 😛
gorgeous!
I dig the Flyers shirt even though I'm a Bruins fan.

Great playing as always, but the "thwack" at the end of the second tune killed me. Sublime, then "thwack!" Buzzkill!! Just let those notes fade Lemmo!
Hahahahahaha California getting "chilly". Pffft 🇨🇦
Did I just hear someone from Cali. saying it's getting cold & dark. HA!
