+L. Gyger I disagree with the Boll ALC and Spirit. I have both and they might hit the same, but the ALC is too heavy and the Spirit is well balanced from blade to handle. Also, When I put hurricane on both, the spirit always loops perfectly, but ALC drops the ball under the net because there's more control than power.
Also playing Apolonia ZLC (concave) with Tenergy 05 (max) and loving the touch and the ability to spin the ball. Just the distant shots are quite hard to perform. Dan, you made an excellent review and have very good skills. Please keep on!
For me, just the distance shots are very easy to perform with this wood. I ´m often surprised that the ball hit the table althought my shot was not the very best.
Great video. I appreciate that it is as entertaining as it is informative. Can you confirm that the Apolonia is nearly the same as the innerforce zlc (or the layer zlc)? I know that the Apolonia is 0.1 cm thinner and perhaps has a different handle, but I can't find any other divergence in design (other than the paint job of course). Thank you
Hi Dan! Thanks very much for all the videos. I really enjoy and appreciate them. Thanks to you, I purchased and am very happy with my Garaydia ALC. I am curious how the Tiago Apolonia ZLC compares with my Garaydia ALC in terms of speed, control, feel and vibration? If you have a moment, could you please advise? Thanks very much. Warm regards.
I own the innerforce ZLC, it feels so woody for a composite blade and yet once i step back from the table, the ball just rockets away like a proper composite blade
My friend, this is the first time I watch your channel and let me tell you that you have brought me back to reality by seeing your VERY good level of play being really really low (with all respects) compared to a pro as Tiago, it makes me want to keep practising to improve every day, worth suscribing channel
1000 level difference between those two guys that's some bulshit I believe the rating system in table tennis is the stupidest I ever saw in any kind of sport
Wow, Apolonia's strokes sure are fluid and powerful. Guess the camera angle really affect our perception of the ball. Apolonia is friendly and seems cool in person. The most surprising thing is that Dan was able to match Apolonia! Woooo! Is the blade truly that good, Dan?
Trisno Adlan the blade seems very good for medium to low speed, feels woody and lots of spins. But high speed drives behaves strangely. Will try tenergy soon.
Butterfly has a trick. So many blades are the same just with a better look and name. This Tiago Apolonia ZLC is the same as the Butterfly Innerforce ZLC. Even Tiago said that he is using Innerforce wood. My friend works in Butterfly so he told me EVERYTHING.
Im Portuguese and look up to Apolonia for years on end, and i have been subscribed to you for years as well, and i unfortunately have not won anything from your giveaways, etc. I would appreciate ot
Great job fellas. Dan, you're getting a lot of arc on your loop. I'm doing the Carbonado 190 for now. when I get across the Atlantic I'll be looking you up :-)
I Hear the innerforce layer zlc plays Not like a normal innerforce zlc. Is there a butterfly blade like the zlc. Is the apolonia zlc the Same as innerforce zlc or a little Bit harder. Because i want to buy a innerforce zlc but it is discontinoud
Every blade is different. Even if you buy two Innerforce ZLCs with the same weight, they will still be very different. I am playing with an old BTY Maze Off which weights 92 grams. I didn't find a single Maze Off which feels like mine. The Freitas ALC has the same combination of wood and carbon. It's pretty much exactly the same as the Maze Off, but every single one I played with is vibrating as hell! I like a soft touch, but I really don't like those heavy vibrations. I noticed that the quality of BTY blades decreased rapidly over the years... What I wanna tell you: Just play with these blades. If it feels good, it can't be the wrong choice.
Believe me, it is worth the money. I use Tenergy 05 (not the FX version) and it has so much spin, control and speed at the same time. They also last longer than for example Andro Powersponge oder Hexer (had those before the Tenergys).
bradstercivic Yes, absolutely! This is why I personally would never pay over a $100 for a damn table tennis racket when the quality of the rubber accounts for about 80% of the performance.
To me, its 50-50. I once tried The ZJK Super. Not worth my money. Doesnt suit my style. Later tried Viscaria which was way better at 200 plus cheaper. Its all about preference. Blades do play a part although most people do not feel differences. Some blades produce a higher or lower arc, some are faster, some has higher dwell, it all depends on preference.
ST for forehand grip? Are you kidding? its the opposite. FL for forehand grip. ST for backhand. Cons of ST are obvious. It can be slippery, thin. Fl however, is just a matter of persons preference. It can either fit good or bad in the hand. It's best if you try both or very similar handles and see for yourself what you fancy the most.
sry, but this is incorrect, grab a st and a Fl and then see in the normal grip from above which one is nearer to your tumb this one is obviously st and better for forehand
I really like the TTD reviews but you guys are testing way to less bakchand situations, like BH Counterspin against Topspin or BH BH Topspin or hard 3. BH Topsin against underspin (like Ovtcharov and all the chinese do) Pretty much every good player can play a good FH Topspin with fast to super fast Blades.. it's pretty much the easiest stroke but like I said, a BH Topsin against a Topspin is also diffuciult for professionel players, you need a really high/long ball trajectory or another technique or huge talent like Karakasevic. I mean why do you think no single chinese professionel player is using a ZLC Blade? It's because a good backhand is extremly difficult with ja Mizutani ZLC. The high catapult und short ball trajectory is like toxic for a good BH. That's why I'm interest in Innerfibre ZLC Technology...
когда уже до производителей ракеток дойдет, что в принципе, нам пох## в какой цвет окрашена ручка, чьими именем она называется и т.д. нам важно только то, как она играет, а именно какое использовано дерево, какой карбон. все остальное не имеет никакого значения.
That's cool you were able to do this review with Tiago! Fun to watch and insightful.
The camera angle is good to study the used techniques. Thanks as always for excellent quality material.
i d be pleased to see the review of the hurricane long 5
tejas pagare Yuss
I love apolonia's technique
Benton Xavier this blade seems to have very low throw angle. Haven't tried tynergy though.
Butterfly is doing a good job at renaming their blades...
Freitas ALC = Maze Off,
Apolonia ZLC = Innforce ZLC,
Boll ALC = Boll Spirit...
+L. Gyger I mean the ALC is too heavy on the Blade and too light on the handle
I agree with Leon , the blades are similar also spirit and boll alc is the same
@@lgeiger Timo Boll ZLC=Zhang Jike ZLC=Lin Goyan ZLC
Innforce ZLC=Apolonia ZLC=Harimoto ZLC

Well everyone would look not that great vs a pro in many sports.
1000 level difference between those two guys that's some bulshit I believe the rating system in table tennis is the stupidest I ever saw in any kind of sport
I love the review, I may buy this blade for xmas present....

Regardless of this video I bought the Apolonia wood about 4 weeks ago. I agree 100% Apolonias statement!

Wow for real? thx
Well, Tiago even said that in the end 9:44
Jeremy Tjia sorry but this is not completely true apolognia has a harder wood layer then innerforce zlc
Wow you were really on to something here... hahaha

You two guys could beat me with a frying pan!
So good to see Apolonia play with his "wood" ;)
Well in the german word for tabletennis blade is "Holz" wich translates into "wood"
Splendid. Quality content, thank you very much dan
NO worries Doruk thanks for following :)
Great job fellas. Dan, you're getting a lot of arc on your loop. I'm doing the Carbonado 190 for now. when I get across the Atlantic I'll be looking you up :-)
Awesome Kevin! Keep me posted :)
Great video, today What do you think of this blade compared to the new Harimoto ZLC....
Awesome Job! What rubbers did you guys use with the review? Any suggestion on what rubbers would compliment this softer blade?
Could you please Test the Marcos Freitas ALC?
I just got the blade, but my high speed loops are going to net sometimes. The blade seems to have very low throw in hight power shots.
So are there any differences between the Apolonio ZLC and the Innerforce ZLC? If yes, what are they?
Great video! Your best one, so far! 😜
Aha thanks Tiago!
Is this blade comparable to TB zlc? Can you review tb zlc please
I was hoping for a long time that ttd would do a review of nittaku acoustic
Hi dan, just making sure the rubbers were not boosted at all? Thanks
Dan, i need your assistance in comparing apolonia zlc / inner zlc vs harimoto alc / inner alc. Big thanks
would love to see the freitas alc

thank you very much, i search for a blade without much vibration not like a liu shiwen, and with a big sweetspot, your explanation helps me
força Tiago agora com madeira com teu nome ainda tema mais inspiração. adoro-te
Dan, would you consider doing a review on the DHS Ding Ning blade? Thank you for your consideration. -V
Dan, I would love to have that blade!
makes me wanna buy it.. damn
I want that Tenergy shirt!!!!
Believe me, it is worth the money. I use Tenergy 05 (not the FX version) and it has so much spin, control and speed at the same time. They also last longer than for example Andro Powersponge oder Hexer (had those before the Tenergys).
davesplatz I want the shirt, not the rubber :)
Wo, sorry, misread on that one...
But wouldn't the rubber change the performance whether or not the blade is good?
bradstercivic

Can you tell me how many mm thickness for the tennergy you have choosen?
Greetings with new hall!
Do u guys prefer FL or ST handle and why?
St definitly better for flexibility and forehand grip

Still no. Most find ST better for BH, and FL for FH.
Do the Freitas alc
can you try the freitas alc please ?
i'm from Germany I can not so good english. 😀
How is this blade in comparison with the old Maze blade that Butterfly discontinued?
I would like to know this too since I still have an old Maze ALC.
Awesome.
can you please do a review of the tibhar Evolution MX-S?
Will see what we can do :)
do bty innerfiber/innerforce series. AL, ALC, ZLC
wow this was amazing
Wie ist es im Vergleich zum Patrick Franziska zlc. Gibt es unterscheide oder sind sie in Prinzip gleich.
Can you compare it with the Waldner Senso Carbon And liu shiwen? :-)
please try Dhs Hurricane Long
Excelent player!

Do a review of h3 neo provincial
dan are you world ranked
No he is not a player
which material ( rubbers ) do you use?
Why dont you enter pro Dan
Tiago's shoes model?
ApolonIa's BH form's better than his FH.
Vs timoboll alc wgo is faster ?
isn't it the same blade with innerforce layer zlc with only design change?
No Dan ur a thousand levels above him
Tiago Apolonia ZLC blade is similar to Garaydia ZLC blade, isn't it?
may be closest to inneforce ZLC
review timo boll zlc please
How does it compare to franziska zlc
Plis revew butterfly amultart zlc
Send me that bat plz Dan, the zlc with tenergy 05 on both sides, im desperately in need of an upgrade
Hi friends, can you help me to review the btf innerforce tamca t5000?
I would never get that sound without boost.
90 grams is way too heavy for most players!
What is the difference between the Timo Boll Spirit and the Timo Boll ALC? NOTHING AT ALL!!!!!!! That is Butterfly's trick.
But it's an innerforce zlc tho...
It is the SAME.
man like that EJJJJ
Basically a Crest AR+ also - 100ish euro from Tibi
Hurricane Long 3 still the best blade with T05 both sides
+Quentin Kwan I'll probs buy ur m2s tbh
Ok so what rubbers did you use?
Есть русские?А чем играет человек в темной одежде ?
I want to sell this blade. Not suiting me.
good blade , amazing play !!
Tiago uses much more force from his leg than Dan.

It’s just you
you played like an amateur with an unstretched net
