Nice! Gold is posh for sure, looks fantastic on the counter or shelf. Haven"t tried the T2 myself, have many vintage Gillette TTO razors including Fatboy and Slim adjustable models. If the T2 with modern materials is close or equal in quality, it should sell out quickly. Thanks Geo, beautiful razor.
I use a Wilkinson Sword Classic(the black version). I use it with the Gillette Platinum(the blue ones) and the Gillette Stainless(the red ones). I get irritation on the neck and below the jaw when going against the grain on the third pass. I tried Astra Superior Platinum blades and got even worse irritation. What sample pack would be best for me?
I've got the T2 - it suffers from uneven blade exposure - the blade is not always centred. (whether it's any worse than other adjustables I have no idea). It would be good if reviewers could pay more attention to this aspect - ideally do actual measurements of blade centering, and blade rotation. Do repeated measurements - i.e repeatedly install & remove the blade.
Re the uneven exposure, I either attempt to centre it (by re-seating the blade), or just leave it, and make a decision as to which side I use for the session.
@@geofatboyno - I give up. I already returned the 6C for the same issue. I told the shop that if I experienced the same issue with the T2, I'll just put up with it. I have a hunch that it may be a common issue with DEs in general - especially adjustables, due to more parts. The more parts there are, the more the build tolerances can add up, and create problems with blade seating. The other issue is that different blades probably have slightly different dimensions - razor manufacturers have to cater for ALL blades - not just one brand/type. This is an advantage that cartridge razors have - the manufacturer has COMPLETE control over the finished product.
I went on your website about 3or4 days ago and seen the r41gs for 136$ and thought wow what a good deal. When I went back on a day later it was 159.99. Was that a limited time thing or is it going to happen again soon? Your the best GEO keep up the good work,I watch all your videos. Yours truly John
Total respect to you! Keep up the great effort! I don't drink alcohol anymore either. I never drank much at all, but now I don't drink any. You don't have to have substances to enjoy life!
Re the "very precise knurling" - what's the point of being "precise" if it doesn't actually WORK? It should be COARSE knurling, so that we can make adjustments when our fingers are wet & soapy!
@@geofatboy no - your terminology is fine - I knew what you meant. However, you failed to mention that it's actually not very effective at doing it's job. (I'm not the only person to make this observation)

The T2 is a real head-turner! That being said-Nothing beats the original Fatboys and the positive click feature! I own a couple myself!
Whats up with the narrow videos format ?
Good for TikTok-Would be nice if TH-cam had an adjustment feature.

Try one with a Feather blade. bit.ly/SNBladeSamplerPacks
The added sharpness will help!
@geofatboy Thank you.

That's too bad. I'd check with where you got it.

Just wanted to comment here to proudly share that I've been sober for 1,908 days.
Cheers to that

Thanks for the lesson. Guess I need to change my terminology
