  • In this video you will see the most interesting suspensions of the front wheels of vintage motorcycles. This is how motorcycle manufacturers experimented in the days before telescopic suspension forks were invented.
Many thanks to all bikers and motorcycle fans who contributed their videos to our motorcycle channel. If you have a motorcycle at home that you built yourself, or an old, interesting or unusual motorcycle that you would like to show, please send me short videos from your camera or mobile phone to: We Transfer - jawatinomoto@gmail.com
I will process your videos and publish them on our motorcycle TH-cam channel - Jawa Tino

You could of also featured the Greeves Rubber torsion suspension used front and on the early bikes rear.

Great video! I never heard about these suspension systems, only about Triumph's rear suspension, but without any pictures.
Will You make a video about younger suspension systems, like Yamaha GTS or BMW Telelever, or Bimota Tesi?
Wish You all the best! :)

Triumph also came out with a "hairpin" type spring that was designed to be used in place of what became the shock absorber. It was a steel bar that made a full loop in the middle and proceeded for another1 0r 20 degrees with a bolt hole on each end where they affixed to the swing arm and the frame. I had a set on a T120 and the ride was quite nice. I got the bike used but the owner told me that Triumph made them and had sold them as an option.
