Someone stole from you?!?! If this wasn’t the internet id say something I might regret in a few years. Those people are absolute zeros. Stealing from the guy that gives back more than any prospecting channel, there no forgiving this. You are a better man than me man. They knew what you had and waited for you to be away. They were probably close to you, think of people that knew you’d be away like people you mentioned it to or even neighbours that can see you come and go.There’s a special place for people like that. I’ll leave it there. Just like people abusing Dan Hurd and using his claims and lying about it on camera. At least they only went for the shop.
I strongly recommend cameras that watch the entrance to your property and the house and shop. Maybe get a good steel security door too.

Watched a video yesterday of a prospector in Australia collecting flour gold that the oldtimers lost from their sluices a century ago... he bolted a handheld concrete vibrator on his own sluice, and it recovered nearly all of it.

I love Lake Superior. Lots of childhood memories camping and looking for agates & neat looking rocks. I never thought it also had gold. Looking forward to the gold mining production now that you’ve properly prospected and tested the area. I spent all day yesterday mapping testing the washes on a club claim here in Az. Lots of places where gold isn’t and learning that comes in layers not always associated with the oldest flood flows. Gold moves around and lot! Ps thanks for sharing and bummer that it also puts you and your family at risk. Be safe.

Hi Brother, George Gusler here. I mafe it to Franklin NC today. Tomorrow I start feeding heavy black sands and gravels from under big rocks to the sluice. I will let you know what I find! Oh, I also put a really good alligator decoy in the koi pond my friends have. Tomorrow morning, coffee and feeding the koi will be... Special.

The sand on the beach migrates in the direction that the storm pushes the waves. Where the black sand was there is now cobble and gravel that's where your gold has dropped out. Go back to the cobble gravel area and process the gravel and cobble out of the sand and run that sand. Jason I know what I'm talking about I've been doing it for 37 years

I would take a whole week off to work that beach, if I found gold like that and if was only a 2 hour drive from my house, I would start at sun up to sun down, specially with nobody around. I,m the type of guy that usually likes working alone, I,ve done that for years Metal Detecting beaches. Plus cold doesn,t bother me since I,m half Finnish.

Unfortunately, it was probably someone you know or a neighbor as they knew you were gone and targeted specific items.
Hd cams that you can operate on your phone are pretty cheap nowadays. My house has camera's everywhere and have been helpful a time or two. I recommend the investment to everyone.
