Pffft, when I played Origins all those years ago I named my Morrigan-romancing Dalish Elf Kieran. She literally named her son after his father, my Warden! This shit is so canon I'm crying a little inside at the cuteness.
I love when she says "He's perhaps the heir to some distant family", she's implying that he is the heir to House Cousland of Highever if your warden was a human noble.
Morrigan becoming such a good mom was done really well. I really loved the writing. When Flemeth takes him it was the most heartrenching scene in the game
He is just perfect. What a cutie. I can't wait to see his future in any other dragon age games. Wouldn't it be cool if he was a companion in one of the next games. When he was grown of course. I be you he'll be hansom like Morrigan.
PrincessAnime01 Two problems. One, he doesn't even necessarily *exist.* So while you can alter the plot around that, it's sort of weird giving people different companion options for it. Two, even if he does exist, he loses the part that would've made him cool as a companion, because Flemeth just likes to step all over my fun. So... I dunno. It'd be nice if we got some idea what happened to him, I suppose.
Agree. It would be really neat to see him, especially if they base his personality on whomever you chose to be his father. I chose Alistair because I played a female Warden and wanted my Warden to spend the rest of her days with Alistair in the Grey Wardens. Alistair is handsome and humorous. It would be neat to see if Kieran turns out to be like him if you chose him to do the Dark Ritual.
Okay, Kieran is Morrigan's son. Kieran is voiced by Odin Black, son of Claudia Black, Morrigan's voice actor. So my thought is this; did Odin perform his scenes in the booth as the same time as his mother, or did he perform his voice work by himself?
I played Dragon Age Origins, romanced Morrigan, impregnated her with that cute messianic kid, and followed her through the Eluvian. I haven't played this game yet, but I am happy that at least romancing had good consequences in the saga (something Mass Effect failed to achieve).
TheCash21011x and less Morrigan. She used to be the kind who hated romance and wanted to vomit if she ever believed in love and here she is getting all lovey dovey mushey on her plot-hole warden.
mrmistful sure if innocent is having an old god baby so you could use it. and if cute is praticing the occasional blood ritual then again sure why not. only Meril can pull that of
Okay so I've been dying to get this cutscene, I made sure I romanced morrigan and made the kid into a god, in the previous conservations with her she says his name multiple times. Is there something I have to do before I get this cutscene ?
For someone who started the Dragon Age series with Inquisiton the cameos goes over my head (I am not Draks lol). Could someone cares to share some background on characters such as Morrigan, Dagna, Flemeth and why you had to choose btw Alistar & Anora to be rulers of Redcliff? thanks.
Spoiler alert much. She is my favourite female character and Alistair is my favorite male character. I am happy that she was brought back. Now I wish to play it even more. The graphics have improved compared to origins.
I've played Inquisition alot, and I've never gotten to see morrigan have a son. Can someone explain this to me? How do I get this to happen in my game?
So your Warden was female and she died. Who is the father if Warden sacrificed herself ? The father must have delivered the final blow in order for Morrigan to have a child with old god soul. Plot hole ? Anyway, Human Noble Warden who had Dark Ritual and romance with Morrigan is my usual story. Also they entered the Eluvian together, and my Warden helped raise Kiaran. He's now in a mission to end Grey Warden's Calling.
If you did not romance her or you were a female Warden, she asks you to get Allister to sleep with her, or a "secret" companion (look it up, I don't want to spoil who it is if anyone hasn't played origins) so no there is no plot hole.
Moblin127 I know everything about Origins, but when you let SOMEONE sleep with Morrigan, nobody dies killing the archdemon. But the channel owner's warden died.
MTM3016 Actually, they can end up talking, but it takes a very specific preset and a somewhat difficult choice. Your Warden needs to have romanced and slept with Morrigan, but not done the Dark Ritual, and sacrificed themselves to stop the Blight, while keeping Alistair a Grey Warden (and, obviously, having him survive the events of Here Lies the Abyss).
Claire Dé Lune thanks. yea i managed to get it right. I finished it, bioware will continue another sequel but i don't think i would like to play on. Because i don't like solas and its unlikely fenris will be in. I'm on reckoning, whichs quite fun too
Well my warden love interest was Leliana in Origins and had Alistair sleep with Morrigan to complete the dark ritual. Come on think the possibilities the kid has the soul of an old god plus has dragon blood running thru his veins thanks to Alistair if you make this choice in the keep. Kinda jacked up if you the Warden are in the relationship with Leliana and decide "fudge it gonna bang morrigan to save my life....wait a minute what am I thinking you get to bang both leliana and morrigan everyone is happy ^__^"
cloudgirl150 Depends on who did the Ritual... Or if the Warden slept with her without doing the Ritual. In this person's playthrough, it would appear so.
Vohry Cz actually according to canon, the warden was a female dalish elf. And Morrigan is heterosexual meaning she ain't into women. So the child is either Alistair's or Loghains. However i noticed she never mentions the name, she just called Karen's father "warden".
I wonder what happens if you stabbed her in the Witch Hunt DLC, does she keep the child? I mean she appears regardless... but I want to know the effects of that moment. If you romanced her it is probably the strongest moment in Origins.
Actually, Kieran IS only 9-10 years old. The year in Inquisition is 9:40-1 ~10 years after Origins and 7-8 years after Witch Hunt. So he litteraly, by logic, cannot be older than that. As for wether they made his model LOOK to old for that, well, that's another matter...
He did if you import a world state where he did. SPOILER Morrigan says he stayed with them and helped raised him before going off on some mission to get rid of the taint. This is an import with a female Warden meaning the father was either Alistair or Loghain.
Good Soul Wow, what a compliment! I'm so glad you can talk to children like that! And I'm sure your voice is just as magnificent there is really no need for negativity! Yeah!
He's voiced by a 7-9 year old boy, depending on the year his lines were recorded. He's not a professional actor like his mother is, and has only had 2 roles, both of which are because his mother was working on that project. I really doubt you'd have done half as good as his voice actor did at that age.
Pffft, when I played Origins all those years ago I named my Morrigan-romancing Dalish Elf Kieran. She literally named her son after his father, my Warden! This shit is so canon I'm crying a little inside at the cuteness.
Wonder where you picked up a name like that. For my Male Qunari, I named him Zander
I love when she says "He's perhaps the heir to some distant family", she's implying that he is the heir to House Cousland of Highever if your warden was a human noble.
or if it was Alistair who joined her in the ritual
or Loghain, I think
Fun fact: Kieran is voiced by Claudia Black's (the voice of Morrigan) son, Odin Black.
What a dope name
Nice to see my love of Morrigan is still at unhealthy levels.
She really makes me doubt my sexuality.
if only she was into women too i would've been happy.
+SquishyWitch she is just stupid heartless shrew...only moron can love this beldam
I can't be the only one that thinks that kieran's voice is friggin adorable lol.. god i want to play this game already..
Fun Fact: the child VA who does Kieran is the son of the VA who does Morrigan
Anybody else scream "MA BOI" when they saw him?
Morrigan becoming such a good mom was done really well. I really loved the writing. When Flemeth takes him it was the most heartrenching scene in the game

yeah it was kinda wishfull thinking.
Agree. It would be really neat to see him, especially if they base his personality on whomever you chose to be his father. GODS!!! I love Morrigan! She grows, she matures, she is like... a good "positive" version of Flemeth.
I'm proud of her :-D
She sounds much more similar to Flemeth in this game.
I played Dragon Age Origins, romanced Morrigan, impregnated her with that cute messianic kid, and followed her through the Eluvian. I haven't played this game yet, but I am happy that at least romancing had good consequences in the saga (something Mass Effect failed to achieve).
I'm amazed at how good Motherhood was for Morrigan. She's warmed up quite a lot.
She resembles Flemeth more now.
Except that she is actually alright at parenting
Especially the nose! :))
and she's hotter.
TheCash21011x and less Morrigan. She used to be the kind who hated romance and wanted to vomit if she ever believed in love and here she is getting all lovey dovey mushey on her plot-hole warden.
TheCash21011x nah i'm just used to her Origin's version.
Man I miss having Morrigan as a party member
Ladies and gentleman, presenting Kieran and his mother Morrigan as voiced by Odin Black and his mother Claudia Black.
I read that it was Claudia Black's real son who voiced Morrigan's son.
Correct!
Awww his voice is so cuuuute
Morrigan is ALWAYS cute and so innocent
You sure about that
Of course! :D Why shouldn't i ? I would hug her if i could.
mrmistful sure if innocent is having an old god baby so you could use it. and if cute is praticing the occasional blood ritual then again sure why not. only Meril can pull that of
Nice touch with the grey ward Crest on the kid.
Is that...dark red satin robes that Morrigan is wearing? Leliana would be so happy.
MY SON
I wish the warden was there and we get to see the family together
Aawwww Morrigan you adorable dork
Okay so I've been dying to get this cutscene, I made sure I romanced morrigan and made the kid into a god, in the previous conservations with her she says his name multiple times. Is there something I have to do before I get this cutscene ?

How did you meet him but when I had talked to her he didn't show up
What forbidden subliminal messages am I listening to when Kieran speaks?
!!! I ment the male avatar for Dragon Age Origins!
I've played Inquisition alot, and I've never gotten to see morrigan have a son. Can someone explain this to me? How do I get this to happen in my game?
Lauren Baker she gets a son when u impregnate her in origins
Dani Rangel so if I never played Origins she has no son?
So your Warden was female and she died. Who is the father if Warden sacrificed herself ? The father must have delivered the final blow in order for Morrigan to have a child with old god soul. Plot hole ?

On my mission to end the calling?! Are you serious? No wonder The Hero Of Ferelden went missing... oh well time to make a new world state,
If the Warden died there is no child unless Morrigan was romanced. Not sure how the non-dark ritual child plays out, however.
Yiğit Ali Tepe Incorrect. Her cannon story video shows that her warden became alistairs queen.
Damn kieran got excellent genetics. Son of grey warden and mage
i wonder if morrgian or alistair comment about each other if they're both at skyhold at the same time
MTM3016 Actually, they can end up talking, but it takes a very specific preset and a somewhat difficult choice. Your Warden needs to have romanced and slept with Morrigan, but not done the Dark Ritual, and sacrificed themselves to stop the Blight, while keeping Alistair a Grey Warden (and, obviously, having him survive the events of Here Lies the Abyss).
Ahh Morrigan misses her best friend.
BETRAYL.....where is my weapon graded sarcasm Morrigan :/
that's it... Elf Mage it is for me.. :P
when does this quest show up? ive talked to her so far she shows me the eluvian. is it wartable?
Its a Keep choice.
Claire Dé Lune thanks. yea i managed to get it right. I finished it, bioware will continue another sequel but i don't think i would like to play on. Because i don't like solas and its unlikely fenris will be in. I'm on reckoning, whichs quite fun too
Thank god she is still pretty! I saw a picture where she looked really ugly and it worried me.
What happens if you romanced her and followed her into the portal in DA:O ?
*****
Got a link to a video of that?
That's my save from DA:O,but I still haven't bought Inquisition,so I have to watch other people enjoy and cry :'(
When does this happen? Or where?
So what happens if you have a female Warden and had to make Alistair the father of Morrigan's baby?
Well my warden love interest was Leliana in Origins and had Alistair sleep with Morrigan to complete the dark ritual. Come on think the possibilities the kid has the soul of an old god plus has dragon blood running thru his veins thanks to Alistair if you make this choice in the keep.
Kinda jacked up if you the Warden are in the relationship with Leliana and decide "fudge it gonna bang morrigan to save my life....wait a minute what am I thinking you get to bang both leliana and morrigan everyone is happy ^__^"
Is her son Alistair's?
cloudgirl150 Depends on who did the Ritual... Or if the Warden slept with her without doing the Ritual. In this person's playthrough, it would appear so.
HeliosKitty No it would not, This person´s warden was a female xdddddddddddddddddd.OWNED
Vohry Cz .... "It would appear so" as in "it would appear Alistair is the father," which is what the commenter was asking. lrn2reed
xxxddlolpwnt
Vohry Cz actually according to canon, the warden was a female dalish elf. And Morrigan is heterosexual meaning she ain't into women. So the child is either Alistair's or Loghains. However i noticed she never mentions the name, she just called Karen's father "warden".
No, femdalish elf is only one of the presets, see the default hero of ferelden import in da2
I wonder what happens if you stabbed her in the Witch Hunt DLC, does she keep the child? I mean she appears regardless... but I want to know the effects of that moment. If you romanced her it is probably the strongest moment in Origins.
João Ribeiro ... If you romanced her, why did you stab her? D: You could've gone with her!
Anyway, no effect. Sorry :P
I... pressed the wrong button and missed the action I wanted... and then I was like... ok
João Ribeiro Only in gaming XD
The stab doesn't change anything, it was retconned, she just has 1 line of dialogue on being assaulted but that's it
Who's the father Fluffy?
Alistair
Ha
Wait, so the Hero of Fereldan is actually a female in canon? A male would've had the chance to become the child's father.
I really want to watch this but like, spoilers... I think imma just do it.
my son has the soul of an old god! mawahahahahahahha
So you have to be a mage
No
morrigan has no son in my playthrough, what gives?
in orgins you do the dark ritual with her either romance her or don't it effects differently I won't spoil it
That kid is creepy as fuc* :D
They choose such small children to dub wha tlooks like an adolescent....why didnt they make kieran younger ? that voice he should be 7-9 tops
Actually, Kieran IS only 9-10 years old.
The year in Inquisition is 9:40-1
~10 years after Origins and 7-8 years after Witch Hunt.
So he litteraly, by logic, cannot be older than that.
As for wether they made his model LOOK to old for that, well, that's another matter...
Kieran was voiced by Claudia Black's son. Claudia Black is the VA for Morrigan
spiderboy9199
Voice Actor/ess
Kieran is 9 in daI
Anyone else notice how the npc alot have big buck teeth that really dose't seem to fit in there mouths. my poor alistair got runed *Crys* lol
I hopet the father of Morrigans son wuld have gon with her throu the miror.
I'm feel disappointed.
He did if you import a world state where he did.
SPOILER
Morrigan says he stayed with them and helped raised him before going off on some mission to get rid of the taint. This is an import with a female Warden meaning the father was either Alistair or Loghain.
Thenx.:)
Your character looks like Fiona as an ogre. 😂
Well that definitely rules out the inquisitor being the God Child, eh?
Is he sick or something? That voice... bleh.
Well he does have the soul of an ancient god. That would throw anyone off
I think his voice is beautiful.
daedra queen Fun fact! The person voicing Kieran is Claudia Black's (Morrigan's Voice Actress) son.
Good Soul Wow, what a compliment! I'm so glad you can talk to children like that! And I'm sure your voice is just as magnificent there is really no need for negativity! Yeah!
