Love your work. I haven't build or painted models or miniatures in a very long time and watching your content is making me want to pick these up. I love the Battletech universe as it stands, so re-igniting an old hobby is seeming like a very promising thing to do.
@@williamteter9474 For the upper works I ended up using Citadel Wraith Bone spray primer and a Skeleton Horde Contrast as the wash, I then used Vallejo RAL1001 Elfenbein to liberally drybrush all the raised surfaces. For the legs I used Vallejo RAL7021 Dunklegrau with a light grey drybrush just to pick out the highlights. The Vallejo paints are from their Panzer 1940-1945 colors, I think it makes for a nice desert tan and dark grey scheme. I am still working my way around the trim, I wasn't happy with the initial test mini so I am thinking of keeping it pretty minimal going forward.
These look great. I would have painted the metallic a base coat of black or gunmetal and then drybrushed the metallic. But given the tiny size, this will still allow the metallic gun barrels to "pop" more. I really do love Citadel washes. Reaper or Valejo paints, but nothing comes close to Citadel's washes.
Great job these look fantastic! Too much work for me for these being as small as they are. I primed, based, added oily steel to the main gun barrel, washed, and dry brushed. They will never look as good as these, but they look good on the table
Thanks and not every mini needs to be a top level piece. I have a lot of things I paint quickly too. It's always a good feeling to use painted minis, regardless of their "quality" after painting.
You can absolutely request it, but it's not likely that it will be done. I have to spread the faction appreciation out and there's no shortage of those already. Hopefully you'll see one or two more CSO artists contribute to video content in 2021.
@@CamoSpecsOnline Its all good, I understand completely. Thank you for getting back to me quickly. I watch all your videos. When are you guys going to get on the WNRP Podcast?
It's Palette Paper I cut into quarter sheets. I use the white when not filming and the grey helps prevent wash out on cameral. www.amazon.com/Strathmore-365-9-Palette-Bound-Sheets/dp/B00CPD0O1U/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=palette%2Bpaper&qid=1607541418&sr=8-4&th=1

It’s great to hear that, thanks for sharing.
Very cool, I used similar methods (only with gray tones and red accents) for my CSJ elementals.
Right on, I need to do some CSJ stuff.
Great tutorial! I'll be adapting the techniques for Wolf Beta Galaxy.
What color are you using for them? I'm doing Army Painter Banshee Brown, Light tone wash, and Basilicum Grey with a Ash Grey light dry brush.

Always useful! I would love to see how you do Clan Wolf Beta Galaxy Elementals and Mechs.
Thanks for the idea!
Great work! I used to love Exo Squad as a kid so elementals were fantastic for me
Same here!
I love it. Any plans on doing some Clan Ghost Bear in the future?
It's on the short list. Probably Beta or Delta.
@@CamoSpecsOnline I look forward to it.
FANTASTIC! Score another win for the Badass B1B!
Well thanks for that, glad you like it.
So nice! Elementals are great. Great tutorial.
Thank you! Cheers!

Very helpful video, thank you!
You're welcome!
Awesome video! I like the technique you use. Can you do a clan ghost bear for mechs and armor?
It's planned to be done but will definitely be after the New Year.

Oh shit was that Tex in the opening? Can I get a Tex Bitchin' Betty mod plx?
Tbh, I want to do a Jade Falcon force for my Clan Box and extras, but I still don't know which Galaxy I want to paint as. :-/
Sometimes those are the most difficult decisions!
I haven't even decided on a Clan yet! So many choices!
@@IanDresarie Going to guess you are relatively new, quiaff?
thx guys
Can I make a request for Zeta Galaxy paint job, don't care what type of unit. I'm a big Jade Falcon fan.
