The Vervet Forest is a wildlife rehab series focused on Vervet Monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation . The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. The show is for fans of animal planet, nat geo, discovery and anyone who is an animal lover, loves animals and would like to be part of helping them get back to the wild.

Another fantastic episode! I hope and pray you continue filming after the integrations are over for the season (pretty please!) Can't get enough of the Foundation and what all of you do. It's my greatest dream to volunteer with my daughter one day soon! Until then, I'll just be a member lol.

I love the monkeys... Gimli is my favorite as well. I love watching the interaction between the volunteers and babies. I also noticed the volunteers don't seem to do a lot of "talking" to the babies, mostly making monkey sounds and gestures. That would really be hard for me to do. I would love to hug and kiss the babes and talk "baby-talk" to them. I know that's not the best thing for them, though. I love to see them get a foster mom, and go off to the forest where they belong. 🐵🐒

Thank you for printing the names of the Samango. Sometimes it can be hard to hear the monkey names right. Maybe you can do that next season as soon as one Vervet monkey (or someone else orphan) get a name and then later in the season when it's time for them to join a troop. Maybe it's only me having the hearing problem because English isn't my native language.
Thank you for another great episode and for the update on Gimli. He's talking a place in my heart. I worry about him.

I like that idea! I, too get confused with names.
I, also, have trouble understanding certain words, and often those words are names. The sound sometimes seems "fuzzy". Thank you to all the people involved in this work and these videos. I've binged start to finish three seasons in less than two weeks!
English isn't your native language?? That surprised me because you write better than most whose native language IS English 😆 it's also hard to hear the names correctly because of their accents so I agree they should put them on the screen 😁 And Gimli is my absolute favorite little guy. He's such a sweetheart. Hope he comes out of his shell more 🤗❤

Thank you but my English isn't always good especially when I'm tired😁. It's hard to get one favourite among so many to choose from but Gimli is one of mine and also the little older monkey Jethro, protector of Rox.

@@ML_SE I love them all but definitely tend to love the underdogs a little more. I love Gimli cuz he was so scared and timid at the start, and then Rox, Terks, Fiona and others because of their physical struggles they overcame. They tug at my heartstrings every time 😁❤

When you first started the foster mom program did the moms realize you were giving them babies or did it take a while for them to get it?
Yes they do know its not there baby and are cautiouse in the begining

And no 90% dont remember Finn or Flynn as he was not part of Kyle's vlogs when he gained your organization a legitimate following. Now Jeffery which you made a very brief mention to deserves recognition as I believe he was season one of Kyle's integration videos. Please remember VMF that Kyle got you guys to the point that you can make money on your videos and please remember that most of your audience will only be familiar with as far back as when he started filming for the VMF.
The foundation has had many wonderful volunteers overtime that do amazing work for the monkeys and promoting their awareness, their skills are assigned to projects that we feel we need help in and to get off the ground, TH-cam was one of them, our website need to be modernized after an amazing very forward thinking volunteer created it 20 years ago and it stood the test of time, instagram was another important feature that volunteers helped get off the ground, the foundation is not 1 person even though people like to put a face to diffrent projects, lots of wonderful people are involved in making things possible and yes even the youtube channel - it is not always easy to remember what people have or have not seen or when they joined, currently we try our best to ensure monkeys names are mentioned, when putting all the variouse footage together, editing and make sure it makes sense, there will always be 1 or 2 things that will leave people wondering, as long as you enjoy the episodes thats important.
Vervet Monkey Foundation I can only imagine the hours it takes to assemble just a few minutes of video! All for these monkey babes! 🐒🐒❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What happened to Tori and was there some problem with Tori and Kyle? As it is quite strange they both left abruptly.
Tori was hired away and works for Lilongwe Wildlife Trust in Malawi.
@@suzithewitch & HandNrocK I'm sure those two are both missed very much at the V.M.F., I also heard that Kyle had left, only after staying there much longer than he originally thought he would, to finally go back home to California where he has family, friends, and also to continue his passion in "Production". 😊
