Your videos are so calming. I’ve noticed I can’t stop clicking on these videos despite being higher rated than what these vids are for. Earned my subscription!

Also do you recommend going through the lower rated programs before going to what my rating truly is? There is quite a bit of material that I haven’t covered from the lower programs

@@yourpalmal6018 What I did is join at my level and add some things from the previous ranks. Once you’ve paid you have access to every training programsthe most useful thing is to join a cohort of similar strenght.

Big shoutout to AngryNaartjie and the rest of the 800-1000 cohort. I’ve been enjoying sharing my analysis and commenting on other games with you guys !

I've been stuck in the mid 1300's for over a year. I'd be REALLY interested in how one gets to 1400 and beyond.

i know this is old but I'm just curious, did you ever end up checking out the chessdojo? it truly seems like the most structured way to improve that I have come across

@@CtrlAltDeliciousGaming Hello - Yes I have checked out the dojo. It's a good program. I wasn't able to navigate the site, but...have now clawed my way to nearly 1500 thanks to a great book: The Woodpecker Method. Please ignore my earlier frustrated rant. :)

    Master the dimension of MATERIAL.
Learn to take pieces and learn how to keep our pieces.
Learn to move slower to develop deeper chess knowledge.
Mate your opponent with a rook or a queen.

How many hours a day do you recommend to complete this program ? How do you know if the player's tactical ability matches his level ?
Your team is building a wonderful program !

three hours sweat work in a week as a minimum. There are tactical benchmarks to hit.

I think I can finally start getting back into chess. I don't know where I lie, but this is a nice foundation. Is there a price point for the workbook and opening principles videos etc on the discord? I haven't been there in a long time to see what's new.

    • @ChessDojo
      @ChessDojo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

don't know what you mean by price point, but you can sign up for the program here: www.chessdojo.shop/training

What book is the LCTRW workbook you mention? I saw from previous rating bands you've been utilising Everyone's First Chess Workbook but this is a different acronym.
This whole program looks fantastic btw. I may well be signing up after payday. It's quite an exciting prospect.
edit: am I correct in saying it's Susan Polgar's Learn Chess the Right Way series? Therefore this is referring to book 3 right?

Just for fun, angry “narchi” for the pronunciation.
