I'm doing this for my groomsman. I'm stoked
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos Gary..!! Even if I don't understand everything you explain because my English remains basic it's very informative and interesting!!! 😉😉😉
Good Information. I have found that if you get decals that tend to get epoxie under the edges and they start to lift off, when you apply the decal, wrap thread over the decal and let it sit for overnight, the thread holds the decal tight and gives the glue time to set and take hold. remove the thread and epoxie over the decal, time consuming, but works.
Very good tip for putting on decals. I've always used the Indian ink writing method but never used decals. Bit worried about them lifting with epoxy. The ones I have were bought from Guides and blanks ( came with the Harrison blank) so hopefully they'll not lift. Also putting on a flag. Hopefully again it will stay in place.🤞
Now you know why a set of custom rods cost so much after watching this complete series very informative great job of the series guys & girls
Hi Gary, how many microns thick is this sticker paper? Great video ! Again..
Buy your own printer. Its not cheap but in the USA, LRT Group can set you up with an LW-PX800 with clear film with gold, chrome, white , black print for about $450. They send a roll of transfer tape and viola. One off decals whenever you like
Can you epoxy over the calligraphy writing?
Nice vid after the calligraphy ink do you epoxy over it?
Nice vid, but what do you do over the hand writing please mate?! If it’s just water-based ink, surely it needs varnishing or epoxying afterwards?? Thanks :)
Gary, I noticed you did not cover Waterslide labels. Do you not use them?
Hello, yes i have done in the past, but prefer a stick on decal, thanks for watching! 👍
Years ago Cabelas sold rod building kits. I’ve built like 5 rods. I’m retired now and want to do it again. Where do I order kits from. I live in alaska
Do you epoxy over your writing?
