But Jay has been moaning about the `back` a lot since the time he could't beat Ronnie (dates back before even 2000) and he's still carrying that grudge even after 12 years. In 2004 challenge round he was beaten by Dex in BDP shot. That's why he hates back and calls it something unimportant. Though he made his back big, only lacked definition and at some stage his back was as wide as Ronnie's but he can't help his underlying moaning. He knows that he was blocky, he was given 2007 Mr O which was clear win for Victor Martinez, again in 2010 his skin was coming off his muscles, saggy I would say, Phil came at number 2 and apparently Phil was winner and back in there again Jay's back was holding a lot of water. He is the mentor of Phil, Phil has been mentioning him in a very positive way on mostly occasions but Jay's been definitely caught up in professional jealousy things.

I was just a few blocks away in Las Vegas when this was going on. I found out about it the next day and am very grateful that I was that close to all the electricity coming out of that Arena. I am extremely motivated hugely motivated monstrously motivated to double up on the weights and the protein intake. you have widened my field of possibility. I'm very grateful to you Shawn! when I was growing up I used to watch pumping iron and get excited about bodybuilding along with my father. He would be very excited to see this for sure! I am ready to hit the weights and grow. this type of mindset helps in all areas of life not just the gym. very proud of you Shawn.
