Just found this video, I think you left a comment on someone else I watch. Lots of fun to watch, would happily watch more stuff like this. (since you asked for viewer comments)

Thank you! Do you have an AT&T UNIX PC also?

@@ForgottenMachines oh definitely not haha (my oldest computer is probably my 2012 MacBook). I just like watching videos about retro computers, especially good meaty ones like this!

@@Arivia1 Thank you, there's PLENTY more where this came from, then!

Intel 8751 on the Voice Power is apparently a MCS-51 microcontroller with 4k EPROM (hence the sticker over the UV erase window)

Finally got to see the real-deal AMD Lance Ethernet card!

ahh nice, that Teltone M-957 on the Voice Power is a DTMF decoder

Some funky stuff on that Voice Power board, Western Electric chips, a colorburst crystal (not sure what this is doing on here!) -- very interesting. Perhaps that WE 310D near the EPROMs is some sort of DSP as those EPROMs are labeled "DSP". Or possibly an ADC. Those Hitachi chips are apparently 8 kB SRAM each- could need something faster like SRAM for the audio processing (?)

Neat - envied people that had a 3B1 - one of my profs in college and then a colleague has one on his desk to this day.
1:16:45 Apologies if you know this, but just to fill in the blanks: this is a standard AUI connector (vendor-independent Attachment Unit Interface). We typically attached either a thick-net or thin-net transceiver to it.

@@ForgottenMachines I bet you'll be able to find an AUI to TP (twisted pair, RJ-45) converter. (We ran an AT&T 3B2/700 in colllege.)

@@DrDavesDiversions Indeed! And if we do, you can count on follow-up videos about it. Thanks for these comments!!

2797 on the Floppy Tape makes sense (clone of WD 2797 floppy drive controller) - not sure what those other two big chips are on there.
