I like how in Skare's narrative, when Luka kills a unit they just leave instead of being killed. Don't give your opponents the satisfaction!

Fun rep, but just remember that you can't fire Icarus Rocket Pods in combat (as you did around 1:23:25) as they're Blast weapons. 👍

I do not understand declining a chance to shoot. Ever. Never assume you're going to destroy a unit in melee. You could always roll poorly. Take every chance to strike at the enemy!!!
I sometimes shoot less weapons (or opt not to shoot) incase killing a model(s) means a unit wipe - as a SW player that charge a the extra movement is really useful (potential of 2D6 charge, plus 3" pile in and 3" consolidate potentially increasing by another 3 is insane in an objective based game)
As always, a great game from Skari and I love the banter with Luka! It was a close one. Those Coven are tough and the Succubus lethal! Finally, paint those Heat Lances! Love them myself. :)
I’ve paused it right at the end of Wolves T1, after a pretty ineffective shooting phase. I’m mentally preparing myself for them to get absolutely blended into a fine paste T2 😢

Dont forget to machine spirit the dread with your Techmarine +1to shoot, i believe dread do not benefit from +1 armor for the psychics strat since they're vehicles also but I cannot confirm that right now. also thunder wolf are not core btw
The psychic strat effects all space wolves units, and Thunderwolf Calvary are Core.
you are right they're core, uh BS is missing that, what I meant to say is that dread do benefit form -1 to hit but I believe not from stormcaller since it gives light cover and there's was a discussion saying vehicles don't benefit from light cover, or do they?
There is nothing preventing vehicles to have cover saves, except how incredible hard it is to get them. The psykick power just fixes that. Wolf's do have some merit for making a bubble of cover and - 1 to hit via power and stratagem.
Cavalry. Not Calvary. One is mounted soldiery, the other is a place in the New Testament. Important difference.

Doesnt the techmarine add +1 to hit for the dreadnoughts- that is the point of bringing one.. In fact it kinda ruined the game because all those 2s and then 3s against the raider with lightning fast.. at least 10+ hits not converted because Luca forgot it.
Need more wolves lucka and maybe some more random stuff all dread lists stuff like that.

Luka is excessively hard on not doing takebacks himself but reminds Skari to res wracks after an advance roll. I did not enjoy Luka tunting down multiple Skaris requests to do takebacks...

I'm trying to figure out how in teh heck teh Succubus did pretty much everything she did. None of the listed weapons are -3 AP and 2 damage, and nothing has teh exploding hits on 6's, so it's some special Thing from somewhere. What upgrades are on top of her in this? I've missed it somehow.

Why intercessors? Where is wolfs guard? Blood claws? Long fangs? Why no wolf units in there? Space wolves power is in their fluff units!
I know his list is not optimized but I like Intercessors with ABR in MSU. I also think Assault Intercessors are better troops than blood claws due to the strats. Wolf guard are great though.

I might be mistaken, but I don't think think you can paid Stormshields with anything besides Thunder Hammers on the Thunderwolf Calvary.
You are mistaken. In 9th they are base equipped with a bolt pistol and a chainsword. The chainsword can be swapped for a stormshield and the bolt pistol can be swapped for other pistols or any weapon from their melee list.

Awful play by space wolves on turn 3. You could have intervened with your techpriest using Counter Charge for 0 cp and stuck the chronos or wyches with fight last.
Always nice to see Space Wolfs, but more thematic list would be nice. Like without any thunderwolf cavalry or any else nonsense.

@@benn1181 nope, and they are ridiculous. That wolf weights like 1ton and space marine with armor and everything is about the same. And you have to have way bigger creature to ride.
