- Just some random riffs on the Notaklon boosted RG80-PH using my Cort G300 Pro with Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. IR is a Choptones G12-80 with a SM57 on the cap edge off axis in the left and cap edge on axis in the right.

For this level of distortion, I like this Randall over the DSL and Amelia.
@@Eric_S Yeah, these old Randalls are hard to beat. I wish they would reissue them with the original RG circuit but maybe with more power (2-300 watts).
This sounds great. I went to 'like' it & discovered I already had. Heck yeah.
@@SilentJayBird Haha, thanks man!
I like the overtones of this amp....killer amp
Indeed. It is without any doubt my favorite solid state amp, truly a killer!

Randall's must be the most underrated amps ever
Indeed, they are phenomenal amps. So simple and so adaptable to many different musical scenarios.
this sounds great!!
Thanks!
Sounds killer 💪
Thanks man!
Another sick one bro! What are you using to run your IR's ?
Thanks! I am just using Torpedo Wall of Sound for the IR loader. It's easy to use and sounds great to me. There's a little reverb from Wall of Sound on this too.
Bexuase of these vdeo, they amps est harder to buy. Prices rocket to sky.
Just trying to show how awesome they are. Also, original 80s RG amps have been selling for ridiculous prices for years now, at least the heads have anyway. The RG80-112SC combos can still be found in the $2-300 range fairly easily and they are the same as the RG100ES heads, just 20 watts less. Hell, I got my RG80-112SC from GC for less than the price of the speaker that came in it (Rola Celestion G12-80) and that was only like 2 years ago.
