Was in addiction since I was 12 until 25 years old, I ended up on the needle, but I came to a Christian rehab and I've been 12 months sober since I met with Jesus, almost had my leg amputated because of my choice or use but even in my darkest days God was there because he sent someone to pray with me& my leg no longer needed amputation! It healed super quick, I was supposed to go for physio to learn to walk again.. but I was walking within weeks PRAISE GOD! He is the love of my life❤ I love this worship!
I am indeed, i am now a support worker/ office admin in the rehabilitation centre i went to :) God turned it all around for the good, i signed my contract a few weeks ago praise God! jeremiah 29:11 ♡

This song has touched me more than any other song. This Wednesday I have to get a feeding tube placed due to a rare and life threatening called Superior Mesenteric Artery syndrome, I haven’t been able to eat and get nutrition for the longest time. I’m only 15, and this song reminds me that God is good and is going to make gaining weight from this tube make the condition go into remission so I don’t have to get a serious surgery! God isn’t going to let me down, he is going to lead me to remission from all my chronic illnesses so I can be a normal 15 year old again💗💗🎗
Sometimes we need something like a serious illness to stop everything and take Jesus seriously. It happened to me and was an important step to make me closer to our King. I'm praying for you, may the Lord heal you as soon as possible

Struggling today . My granddaughter Aurora passed away at 2 mos. & 9 days. She was born at 34 weeks & was released from hospital at 4.8 lbs. We are having "Celebration of Life" tomorrow at my daughter's house in MO. Jesus is still the King of my Heart. I just pray & ask for prayers for healing. This is a tough one. My daughter has 2 other children 7 yr.old & a 12 yr. old

I just love this song so much. It practically fills my eyes with tears and heart with so much Thanksgiving to God for all that He has done for me. Not caring for who we were but only because of the great love with which He loved us, sacrificed His own only Son, so that I would be free. I looked up the lyrics and pasted them below. . If I were a non-believer, my #1 question would be HOW is God good? Saying he is good, good, good, good over and over is all well and true, but what does this mean to a person? Also, I would be asking who is this "King of my heart" anyway? The name of God/Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit appear nowhere. Very vague and very repetitive. Perhaps this is useful purely as a worship song, but it gives almost no theological context and precious little Biblical teaching or confession. In other words, this could be written to and sung about a very kind, inspirational human being (i.e. the song writer's mentor) and no one would be the wiser. I'm only 23 and most people my age or older grew up relating to contemporary praise music. I never got into it because it is so simple melodically and lyrically, and I don't enjoy singing the same line over and over. I learn them to play in churches if its requested but otherwise I don't prefer it. But if it uplifts and resonates with someone else, who am I to judge that? Maybe it's not for me to understand.

I don't dislike it, but as I mentioned to someone else above I find a lot in it that is vague and confusing. The song could just as easily have been written to a kind, inspirational human being as to God. Nowhere in the lyrics do we see the name of God/Father, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. We also don't see WHY or HOW God is good: simply the phrase repeated over and over and over and over (x8 more times I think). So while I didn't click a thumbs down, I would definitely pass it over. There are dozens of other rich, beautiful songs of praise that are clear as to whom and for what we are singing praises. This one sounds like a Sunday school song for pre-schoolers. That doesn't make it bad, but rather it is spiritual milk vs. meat, and Christians are exhorted to get into the meat of our faith. . Even the little kids' song "God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, he's so good to me" uses the name "God" in it. That makes it clear we are talking about someone/something that is not human, and that God is the God of a monotheistic religion and not one of many gods. Even simple songs can teach simple truths, if they are worded properly. This song falls short, in my humble view, and it didn't have to. Take this for example: . I love the quality of the lyrics, seems like the good old hymns we find in a hymnbook.
In all kindness, except for the redundancy like the lyric "God's good"....and well we know He is, but let's use other wonderful attributes, not the same thing over, and over, and over and over and over and over and.....(hint taken).
@@leesy2389 , I had the same response as you. The "good old hymns" were never this repetitive and they were much more theologically instructive. The also did not use pronouns all over the place. I looked up the lyrics and pasted them below.

If I were a non-believer, my #1 question would be HOW is God good? Saying he is good, good, good, good over and over is all well and true, but what does this mean to a person? Also, I would be asking who is this "King of my heart" anyway? The name of God/Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit appear nowhere. Very vague and very repetitive. Perhaps this is useful purely as a worship song, but it gives almost no theological context and precious little Biblical teaching or confession. In other words, this could be written to and sung about a very kind, inspirational human being (i.e. the song writer's mentor) and no one would be the wiser. I prefer my songs a more robust and clear.

Um, no. It’s nice, but it’s not even close to real hymns in a hymn book, which not only teach us, but have meaningful texts from Scripture.
I'm only 23 and most people my age or older grew up relating to contemporary praise music. I never got into it because it is so simple melodically and lyrically, and I don't enjoy singing the same line over and over. I learn them to play in churches if its requested but otherwise I don't prefer it. But if it uplifts and resonates with someone else, who am I to judge that? Maybe it's not for me to understand.

How can 70 people dislike this?
I don't dislike it, but as I mentioned to someone else above I find a lot in it that is vague and confusing. The song could just as easily have been written to a kind, inspirational human being as to God. Nowhere in the lyrics do we see the name of God/Father, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. We also don't see WHY or HOW God is good: simply the phrase repeated over and over and over and over (x8 more times I think). So while I didn't click a thumbs down, I would definitely pass it over. There are dozens of other rich, beautiful songs of praise that are clear as to whom and for what we are singing praises. This one sounds like a Sunday school song for pre-schoolers. That doesn't make it bad, but rather it is spiritual milk vs. meat, and Christians are exhorted to get into the meat of our faith.

Even the little kids' song "God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, he's so good to me" uses the name "God" in it. That makes it clear we are talking about someone/something that is not human, and that God is the God of a monotheistic religion and not one of many gods. Even simple songs can teach simple truths, if they are worded properly. This song falls short, in my humble view, and it didn't have to. Take this for example:
