I approve of the LSWR, and the fact that you used my Creative Commons picture from Flickr - it's always a joy to see where these turn up with the CC licenses.
I also approve of convex buffers.

Thanks James, its a great picture of a fantastic coach. I've not had the pleasure of seeing it in real life just yet but its on my list (hopefully this year!) - Dave

@@HattonsModelRailways I do love pre-grouping carriages. The Bluebell has some excellent examples.

    I'm so excited for these!!
After these 4 and 6 wheeled coaches, I would absolutely love to see some of the pre-grouping bogie coaches as seen in the stream there. Especially in LMS Maroon.

@@HattonsModelRailways I agree with XxBumble_BeexX, some bogie coaches, both standard and clerestory generic coaches would be brilliant as a follow up. Will write to the department as most of the parts are already there. Plus the Genesis coach rmweb forum had people hinting at buying bogie coaches. Food for thought... ;)

I've ordered a full second 5-compartment 6-wheeler, assuming it would be as per the LSWR prototype, which it matches well, but very disappointed to discover you've replaced one passenger compartment with a luggage compartment, since there's no LSWR coach like that with a luggage compartment. So that's a really strange decision; in any case luggage compartments had no windows and double doors. You have the book there in your video. Still time to change your decision before the coaches are produced - just letter the door as Second instead of Luggage. Same with the First; only a family saloon would have had a luggage compartment (at the end, not in the centre). Ideally I'd buy a 1st-2nd composite, but the LSWR had no such 4-wheelers, the composites were all 6-wheelers. I have also ordered a Lavatory First, but the lavatory compartments in your model are about twice the width they were in the LSWR original; the original also has two gas lights, one over each lavatory (p121 in Weddell's book).

To the docks, not dockyards - the latter were/are construction and maintenance facilities.

I do not understand why 4 wheels coaches are as expensive as 6 wheelers, they should be approximately 4 pounds cheaper in my opinion. I have a question: how many people will fit in firs, secon, third class compartment?

Hi Jan, the compartments usually accommodated 3 or 4 people on each side in real life dependant on which class of travel was chosen.

Third class was usually 5-a-side. Second class usually 4-a-side, and 1st class 3-a-side, (but sometimes 4-a-side in suburban stock).
