Donaudampfschifffahrtsgesellschaftskapitän = Danube (Donau) steam (Dampf) shipping (Schifffahrt) company (Gesellschaft) captain (Kapitän).
In German there is no limit how long a word can get, you can always append more words to make it more specific, for example "Donaudampfschifffahrtsgesellschaftskapitänswitwenrentenversicherungspolice".
