If you were more a bit more experienced with Karma you'd be popping R anywhere from 3-7s before you actually throw the Q (or E or W, whatever) because the CD of her R starts from when you press the key not from when you cast the empowered ability. You can obviously insta R-Q when you must hit them ASAP, but zoning and mind gaming with R popped but holding Q for a few seconds is almost always optimal, if only for the extra pressure it puts on your opponent to pay close attention to your dumb lil champ for up to 8 seconds straight over and over and..
A few extra notes to add onto this: Using R earlier is also good because the cooldown starts immediately when you activate R, not after you use an empowered ability. You can also do Q, and then immediately R before Q hits to setup an R and also get the -5s from Q without committing to a specific R ability. You can hide the mantra animation/noise a bit by using another ability right before it.
21:10 You do get healed when you ult + W the normal monsters. Any time you use your Mantra W you will get healed. Also, if your target dies it will instantly proc the second wave of healing.
21:10 u can mantra w on large monsters to heal, unless they changed it recently. id probably rather build locket instead just bc this item keeps on randomly getting proceed and u do no dmg to things like waves without emp q. ik magifelix went locket before, not sure what he goes now
Radiant Virtue Karma is some of the biggest fun i had in League, tho i prefer getting Spellbook + Red tree to get as much item cdr as possible and getting Minion demat
Love combining this item with staff of flowing water for extra ability haste for my team and extra shields / heals. Usually go the sorcery route with aery and hunter (red tree), indigenous hunter (CDR on Items) and Taste of Blood (R+W More healing output) Been able to spam R+E 3-4x in every fight, so fun !
I love this new mythic item, i used it on Renata in aram such a cool way to get more value out of her ult. (With full build it's almost the same CD as her ult a little lower, with ulitmate hunter her ults lower by around 5 secs than it

How would I set it up in client for my clicking the mouse would auto self-cast? When I try to hit Q and mouse click in settings for the self-cast bindings (for q abilities, other letters for other spots), only q pops up, so I am afraid to save the change.
Actually Mantra W is criminally underused. It DOES icnrease root duration by a lot, most efficient combo for damage, cc, heal (everywthing) is reglar Q into mantra w into another Q from increased CC duration. Most people jsut Mantra Q and w and next Q is a flip with WAY less CC
At ~15:43 we saw a lot of team members go top side to kill the Fiora and she backs off. What happens of Pekin chooses to stay bot and kill the next wave here? In my (gold) opinion, I would stay for the next wave and try to hit tower to punish people going top. Is it not good because a lack of wave clear and will put Karma and Fiora off sync for back timers?
@@shubhod9569 Aah I didn't consider that angle. Rift herald was up and they took it. Perhaps there was a world where splitting too long gives too much control of that side when Baron eventually spawns. Also stacking for a herald would definitely out push Karma in that instance.
I think it's because Karma is really bad at taking towers so staying to kill one more wave and then get a few autos on the towers isnt worth it for tempo. Someone would be arriving soon to match him so backing to spend his gold and getting back on the map is better. He can be on time to contest the rift push with his team.

Wouldn't ingenious hunter be good with this build since Karma's ult is so low cooldown? Brings radiant virtue down to like 40 second cooldown, and you'll basically have ult every time radiant virtue is up anyway.

I’ve only used this item on Soraka since it was released but I gotta try it on Karma now. My only concern is I’ll waste the CD poking with RQ cause I will probably forget about it lol
Wouldnt gathering be better since you are building hybrid? Its a shame the item active cdr is in the domination and inspiration trees. I guess lowering that cd isnt worth losing the resolve trees free stats.
I don't get the point of this build. Sure, cdr is great, but all you care about with tank Karma is health and armor/mr thanks to your mantra W. The other tank items are just better for her right now. Iceborn gives a slow on your auto, Heartsteel makes your mantra W really strong, and Sho makes you super tanky. It's better to build her tank for assassins/bruisers, but going full AP/AP brusier against mage and poke lanes.
BTW Pekin radiant virtue ornn upgrade is bugged and will not proc with karma ult. Riot wouldnt listen to my bug report but its easy to test. fucked me over. careful
I jumped to 22mins and watched onwards and at 31mins you're just a non factor in this particular match. Any other mid would have been better. Idk, seems incredibly situational to have a karma supp mid. Edit at end: Yeah, purely a supp build past 20mins. Idk why you called it tanky with those basic supp items.

For self cast, I'm pretty sure you can also just hold left "alt" while you cast. Either that or I've set that up manually, but I think that's default.

Hi I'm a Karma main. I use the Ingenious Hunter rune as secondary on her so I can spam Radiant virtue every 30 seconds aprox. Just a tip
The whole point of Tank Karma is the empowered W heals based on missing HP, so the tankier you are, the better bait you become

i think the worry is enemy team trying for baron since he doesnt have teleport so cant split bot for too long
