Nice work I just did this today, but just one question. On the 2 lower transmission bolts you stated 47 but in the the diagram in the manual shows five bolts. Two 10x1.25mm @33 (which i belive are the 2 removed lowers)and three others facing opposite direction @ 47 which is 12x1.25mm. Am I reading the diagram wrong?
It’s more expensive for the same baffling design. I was particularly interested in the Toda pan because it comes with an additional port for a temp sensor.
YO MAN, just put my oil pan on and filled it with oil when I realize one of the dowel pins came out with my old oil pan and I didn’t notice… something gonna fuck up? or you think I’m chilling?

You are absolutely correct. Will pin this and make a note.

Hey there, I'm building a long block. Stuck on the which baffle to use. Which one is this one? Any good?
damn is that supertech Oil!
Does the oil dipstick come in under the baffle?
Thanks!
Great video, what oil pan did you go with?
It looks like a Toda
Yep it’s a Toda pan. Not really satisfied with the initial results
@@DIYGuysvideo still a fair bit of pressure drop observed? Perhaps a Moroso with trap doors would be more ideal?
@@DIYGuysvideo oh no, makes me not want to install mine. Please keep us posted.
Yeah I still see oil pressure is quite variable. Seeing oil pressure drops of 12 psi in corners.
Why didn’t you go with the Spoon Sports Baffle Oil Pan?
It’s more expensive for the same baffling design. I was particularly interested in the Toda pan because it comes with an additional port for a temp sensor.
@@DIYGuysvideothanks for that info.

I think you’re chillin.
I imagine they are for alignment purposes during assembly. If you have a gasket set and the bolts installed the pan isn’t going to budge imo.
🙏👍
what pan did you install?
Toda
Whats your wheel and tire set up?
17x10 +50 Rota Grids. I run a mix of A052, RT660, and Maxxis RC-1
@@DIYGuysvideo did you run the RT660s prior to installing the baffled pan?
what track is that at the end?
Thunderhill East
