BIMSTEC is an old Organisation from 2004 which was Earlier Formed as BIST-EC in 1997 but in 2004 Nepal and Bhutan Became Member and it Became BIMSTEC and Pakistan was not Part of it from 1997.

We should dissolve the SAARC and make it as SAARC -1 excluding Pakistan instead of promoting BIMSTEC
BIMSTEC was formed in the year 1997 in Bangkok and it's HQ is in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It's an initiative for multi sectoral and technical cooperation of countries in the Bay of Bengal. Pakistan is not a member in this dispensation in the first place. So where's the question of removing comes in?
SAARC was formed on 8th December, 1985 in Dhaka, Bangladesh with the HQ at Kathmandu, Nepal. No country can stop another country unless a country refuses to attend and have a common cause, purpose and agenda during the meetings.
SAARC couldn't meet these common cause and purpose and the countries in SAARC are the poorest, so it's bound to fail. They can't afford regular meets, contribute to the common cause in finance, technology, word and deed. So it's obsolete now.
However Pakistan from their birth identified with Gulf countries and was member SEATO and CENTO. They identified themselves more with Arab countries. They should've joined GCC. Nowadays they've converted to Turkik and now they can be in EU with the help of Turkey and the US. UK, their ally may be willing their vacated seat to them as their Godfather.
Pakistan didn't work for pakistani intrest in SARC it worked against Indian interest in SARC that's the difference.

Pakistan still fails to understand its own position and continues to read India wrongly.
India has always been non allied and will continue to remain same.
It seeks to become one of the poles in a multipolar world.
Just look at comments coming from US on our PM’s recent visit to Russia.
Even the US ambassador is giving statements , expressing their resentment about Indo-Russian ties.
India keeps its own importance at the forefront while dealing with the world, including dealing with Pakistan.
Unlike Pakistan it never got sold out to US (& now China)!
Just by allowing relations with India, your ties with your neighbours will also improve, eg TAPI gas pipeline, Wagah border access for goods and from Afghanistan.
Such simple actions will make commercial sense to your neighbouring countries and book profits.
Look at India, it allows its Kolkata port to be used by Nepal for its exports and imports.
India allows electricity exports from Nepal and Bhutan through its soil to Bangladesh.
Hopefully your decision makers and ruling elites arrive at what is good for Pakistan and act accordingly.
By the way, we love the ordinary people of Pakistan, just as they love us.
We share the same values and cultural ties of over 5000 years (another contentious point, since some in Pakistan think, they are Arabs!)

1. Tourism - single visa entry for all these countries
2. Joint Counter - terrorism operations
3. Counterfeit currency ban
4. Exports from India to all these countries, etc.
If real things are not implement3d on ground then there is no use of all these groups
